  1. Would love to have this in future batches.
  2. These look absolutely superb! I’m sure the coupling system will be a lot better than Hornby’s attempt. Bring on hauling prototypical takes without the first wagon derailing😅
  3. Hi Ben A. Thank you for posting the link 👍 Can’t believe I’ve not realised the order book had opened 🙈 order just placed now for all 3 timber twin packs! I’d best get laying some more track to accommodate these now 😅 Thanks again, Sam
  4. Evening all, these are looking superb! Just wondering when the order book for these will open? Thanks in advance
  5. I’ll just leave this here 😉 will certainly snap one of these once announced!

    Class 59 in 00

My apologies if I’ve missed this somewhere but has anyone been able to rectify the light configurations on the models? And also, has anyone had any issues with the axle boxes?
  7. Does anyone know when these are due into stock seeing as the others have hit the shelves?
  8. Hoping it’s a retool of the class 220/221 voyagers! 🙏
  9. Does anybody know whether Hornby are doing the magnetic couplers as a separate product code so they’re available to buy for previous MK3’s (sliding door XC & GWR) cheers 🙂
  10. One thing I have noticed from the model to the prototype is the buffer mounting plate (if that’s the correct term?) is body coloured on the models but is black as per the prototype. I’ve attached a couple of pictures and circled the area to show this.
  11. Great to see more liveries announced! Happy that there’s more DB red coming too. Any idea on prices?
  12. Hi Aaran, Glad to see more progress being made on these, any idea on the weight of each wagon please? Thanks in advance 🙂
  13. Sorry, I meant the ‘Wascosa/Network Rail’ livery to be done in OO next.
  14. These look great. Can’t wait for you to announce them in OO next 😉
  15. I’m hoping that now Bachman have invested in technology and seem to be able to tampo print intricate liveries/livery details, they are able to produce FGW’s ‘local lines’ livery to their class 150’s & 158’s!
  16. That’s great Mick thank you very much. I hadn’t even noticed that there were 2 different lettering sizes. Need to go to specsavers I think! 🤓
  17. With the later style Castle Cement PCA’s, there are two different slogans on the sides. “Building a better environment” & “Heidelberg Cement group” are these year related or were they in mixed rakes from the start?
  18. I always use matt varnish applied using a cocktail stick. If it needs to be held down in place I either use some Tamiya masking tape or anything small enough without the risk of damaging the etch like a small Humbrol paint tin. I’d leave it a good 24 hours before attempting to remove the weight or masking tape and afterwards I’d run around the edge with some more Matt varnish using a small paintbrush just to make sure it doesn’t come loose again anytime soon. Again, leaving it another 24hours or so before handling it.
  19. These little teasers just keep getting better and better! Can’t wait to see the final finish 👌 Would love too see/have 37667 & 37521 as an Exclusive twin pack 😍
  20. I’m hoping these Wascosa/Network Rail branded wagons will be in the next release aswell. Plus another set of the red DB would be nice too 🤞 Also, hoping for more TEA tank wagons announced in the near future 😉
  21. 150 GWR 143’s, is that all?? Why so few? Gunna feel like I’m on the first part of who wants to be a millionaire with the fastest fingers…
  22. Only going to echo what has already been said. Stunning wagons and the boxes they come in are bl00dy lovely! Well done guys. Looking forward to more announcements in the near future!
  23. Just been on to Hornby’s website to see if there was any update on delivery of their “Trainbow” GWR 800 and it says expected winter 2023! Surely it can’t be 2 years away…? https://uk.Hornby.com/products/gwr-class-800-trainbow-train-pack-era-11-r3872
  24. The earlier ploughs and chassis certainly look a lot sharper and better made. Signs tooling is due an upgrade? Looking at your pictures again, definitely like the look of the earlier makes!
