  1. Recently unveiled DB Cargo Class 90, 90021 in Malcolm Group colours ... footage shared ... courtesy of Malcolm Group hopefully, there'll be a Bachmann version of this out in the not so distant future
  2. DB Blue (90034) is back out on duty, last week returning to duty on the rotational 4S49/4M30 and this week is on 4M25/4S47 - alongside team red Skoda Christine (90037) ... Team Red DB90s Multimodal (90019) and CB Hall (90035) are nicely paired up in a nicely matching livery pairing of DB Cargo red 90s for the first time since Multimodal and Bill did so in 2020? (i think it was) and are on tonight's 4M30 service. Donald Malcolm (90021) and Bumblebee3 (90020) are also at Mossend to be the second rotational pair on 4M30-4S49.
  3. What's evwen more interesting is how are their lights working, never mind how they've got their lights on ... Kat, Johnson Street IEMD
  4. Its great seeing the new wave of Bachmann 90s out on the market, particularly those in the EWS/DB brand, i hope to add several of these to my stable, modelling era-10 will see my EWS ones get a thorough weathering to reflect their current condition at ''Mecca Electric'', Crewe IEMD. Its slightly amusing they opted for Bill McAlpine as the first of their DB branded 90s, whatever shall I do with my own ''Bill'' .. decisions decisions ...
  5. Some interesting new 90 liveries on Rainbow 🌈 Railways website recently, not the one I am waiting for, but tired EWS and ex-Grand Central is good for those out there wanting one or both of those.
  6. 4S49 this afternoon Sunday 8th May 2022 90029 & 90035 with 90028 & 90039 DiT on Daventry DIRFT to Grangemouth TDG EWS.
  7. Oooooohhh 90030 in EWS .. Hmmmm 😉 Thanks Bachmann
  8. In that case, you should follow my channel on YouTube, Johnson Street IEMD, where I follow the DB90s, including Malcolm including their operations on Malcolm as well as modelling Malcolm, Jack, Bill and the DB90 stable, congratulations btw on getting a Rainbow Railways Malcolm 90. Kat@johnsonstreetIEMD
  9. Yeah, i totally get that ... I nearly bought the new Bachmann DB Cargo 90, Bill, 90028 ... and was going to get my Bill rebranded or renumbered ... but it's still a significant outlay here and now ... i am going to have to wait a bit ...
  10. Bit of a PR clanger from Hornby perhaps, with this on the front of a Collector magazine long before it was unveiled to the world ... Rainbow have a good number of specially printed relivery works, like Backbone 90039, Christine 90037 and Malcolm 90024 as well ...
  11. i am thinking this has got Bachmann / Rainbow Railways written all over this ... I went to Crewe last night to see him (Donald) on his first day out in traffic ... now he's moved over from the WQAA to WEAC pool code at Crewe IEMD: We've mostly moved on from Hornby Class 90s, havent we ?
  12. Donald Malcolm on blue box duties tonight on 4S47 at Crewe Station along with Bumblebee3 (90021 & 90020)
  13. The three DB90 pairs out on duty at the moment are: 90020 & 90035 90028 & 90029 90024 & 90037 and 90021's now reallocated to active pool code status WEAC
  14. hmmm ... i guess there are perfectionists and perfectionists ... GBRf yes, DB ... but hey, each to their own ... I plan to take an RfD 90, remove all the RfD stuff, have it weathered to hell and back ... and DB logo it .. and renumber it into whichever is the best condition RfD90 in long term store, i think 90027 was mooted along with 90030 in EWS sometime ago, but these plans were shelved.
  15. Also, lose the RfD sectorization stickers as well i would say ...
  16. I like that idea ... that's what DB used to do ... as they did with 90034 as it is now ... and also on 90037 in EWS ... I was umming and arring doing that to my Barbie 90021 ... DB nose and opposing cabside logo's ... but i recently let go of it ...
  17. Well, it hasnt advanced much in three years ... i just hope the vertical stanchions are a bit taller ... a Hornby 86 with its panto down on a piece of unmounted track was virtually touching the cantilever holding the contact wire when i saw it ..
  18. or watch a Freightliner 90 with sound appear on Ebay for £210 ...
  19. couldnt comment on timeline ... lol i am sure it was pre Bachmann 90 time when i saw that gantry at my local .. so that's at least three years - three years to make something that someone else is making for you .. ?
  20. Wolf (90002) on the rear of the Liverpool bound LSL train this evening
  21. Backbone in the late February sun ... on the way to Wembley ... they're all going to Wemberrrllleeeeyyyyy (even 90039)
  22. I think there are several @47606odin .. of my sound fitted 90s, I have two different ones, Zimo and legomanbiffo.. I think there others as well, as to whom Bachmann use, maybe get i'd touch with them about it
