  1. Taking a quick look at the manual for your dishwasher it is rated at 2300watts. If you do choose to try it plugged in elsewhere, make sure any extension cable is rated for 13 amps and fully unwound. (Yes I know 2300 watts is 10 amps...).
  2. With many laser printer bundles you get a reduced capacity cartridge, I.e. It won't print as many copies as the full price cartridges.
  3. To expand on the fingerprints comment the reason it kills the bulbs it it leaves a film of grease on the glass, this then heats faster than the rest of the bulb, causing it to crack or blow.
  4. I have to say though that is a direct response to the airlines charging to check bags in, which I believe they did to try and speed boarding and turn around time.
  5. I am sorry to hear this, think Fred Dibner but a lot more interesting...
  6. I hate to ask but any sign of rodents and any hollow walls they could be running up?
  7. Either a second hand laptop as mentioned or a raspberry pi plugged into the telly?
  8. So acccording to the BBC Renault are ceasing supply to RB at the end of 2018 and they will be forced to use the Honda unit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/41265779 I guess even Christian Horner will struggle to criticise it more in public than Alonso has already...
  9. http://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/racing/tour-of-britain/taylor-phinney-apologises-disqualified-tour-britain-349236 Seems the uci have got their act together at least.
  10. I have a problem with a DVD called clown kill: The IMDb say "Jenny, an ambitious, feisty but very successful advertising executive has her drink spiked at a fancy dress party, leading to a brutal sexual assault in the pub toilets by a mysterious figure dressed as a clown. Slowly she rebuilds her life, and as she regains confidence in herself, she returns to work after a six month absence. She soon becomes bogged down with work and when her bullying boss gives her a huge, last minute advertising account with a Saudi-backed circus company, the pressure begins to mount. Forced to work alone throughout the night in the huge office block, it soon becomes apparent she is not alone. Stalking the empty corridors is a familiar, unwanted figure, and Jenny soon discovers she is locked in with Charlie Boy the psychotic clown, driven by a blood lust and an obsession with torment and murder. Blending suspense, horror and dead-pan humor, the film weaves a twisting tale that takes the viewer in a direction they never intended, without ever insulting their ... Written by Stephen Greenhalgh" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3443208/?ref_=nv_sr_2 I say that with a similar filming and acting style to your average uk made blue movie but none of the interest it is really bad. So cheaply made that they didn't spill any of the fake blood on the walls/ceilings/floors of the building they filmed in to avoid the clean up bill it is not visually appealing.... The issue I have is that if I give the DVD to a charity shop someone else may waste 50p on it, and then lose 79 minutes of their life to it. If I throw it away then it is clogging up the landfill with dire waste that Mother Earth doesn't deserve...,so am I stuck with it for life? ☹️
  11. So national rail enquiries currently listing over running works til mid-day due to overrun on the works.
  12. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3120314/?ref_=nv_sr_1 shark exorcist, a dire attempt at the shark horror genre that makes the sharknado series look like a jaws quality picture. 71 minutes of my life I will not be getting back. I would provide a synopsis but there did not appear to be a plot...
  13. I agree there does seem to be a high proportion of adverts on C4 catch-up..try a drama series weeek after week when they know you are captive, but that is the joy of not paying...is sky f1 ad free or do you pay to get advertised too?
  14. According to the travel reports on local radio (BBC Oxford) some services are being cancelled due to a lack of platforms at Paddington following this incident.
  15. In a similar vain what is the shortest journey, where you cannot see both the origin and destination platforms, e.g. Reading to Reading West? (Excluding underground)
  16. So I used to have a game where you were switching points to stop trains colliding. It was quite simple graphics but with screens full of track and up to 10 trains running. Does anyone else remember it and it's name by any chance?

  18. So it looks like Eddie was right about Merc pulling out at the end or 2018, just had the wrong formula....
  19. The thing I don't like about the reports I have seen so far is they don't list the hours worked (or broadcast) in relation to the salarys. Figures without being quantified are a waste of time imho.
  20. Aldi had something similar within the last month, may be worth checking their bins of left over offers if you have a store nearby.
  21. On freeview they pay freeview to broadcast the channel over a set number of hours, extend the hours and you pay more money, do it short term and pay a lot more money.
  22. And how would this bother those running a Honda engine???
  23. I have read that the baby on board signs started as something to make emergency services aware in case of an accident...don't know how true it is though.
  24. I would second Martins recommendation of Namesco as I have used them at work for around three years and have found them to be good to work with.
  25. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-40420954 Similar block in Germany now being evacuated over cladding.
