  1. I guess from an internal perspective it now puts both Red Bull and Renault in the position of not wanted to discuss their developments for next season with an experienced driver who is off to a competitor. How much does that handicap development I wonder, and are Renault better placed with Nico than Red Bull with Max?
  2. If this only apparent on printing then it is likely an issue with your printer driver or adobe installation. A quick workaround is to go to printer properties and choose print as image.
  3. How about 10 points for whichever driver increases their position from qualifying to checkered flag the most during each race? Although again that will likely to to whichever merc/Ferrari/red bull driver has started on the naughty step for parts changes....
  4. To ber fair the last two occasions I have tried to buy pc’s from curry’s/pc world I have been told “the one ones in stock have already had our setup service completed and a backup usd drive created and that will be £25 over the price shown” .....to which I have walked away as I wanted new in a sealed box Once was after the first time they promised watchdog they would stop forcing it on customers...the other after the second...
  5. The cynic me wonders how having lewis’s Tyres in the lane and screaming “in in in in” down the radio was a pit wall cock up....but it was a good result keeping the championship in contention and the season interesting so I won’t...
  6. Gianni Moscon, a sky rider disqualified for punching another rider http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/gianni-moscon-disqualified-from-tour-de-france/ Cottage of the punch here https://mobile.twitter.com/eurosport_uk/status/1021111137524469760?s=21 Will losing this domestic eat into sky’s dominance?
  7. I had an Skoda on hire a while back with one of those eco engines that stop when stationary and restart when you pull away....it stopped when you braked and restarted immediately upon release of the foot brake.
  8. Is this a consequence of the drop from 9 to 8 riders, giving teams a a slight reluctance to burn through domestics in the early stages?
  9. I dunno, parking outside a parade of shops that are only on one side of the road (which is common round here) with on road parking, with parked cars on that side, do you create a random slalom or park on the right?
  10. Came down a unlit slip road road to enter an empty m40 at around 11:30pm one night (early May) to find an unlit vehical parked at the bottom...it shocked me how late it became visible.
  11. If they buy in the same volumes and prices I do for the warehouse at work they would have saved around 6p on your order in packaging costs by using a Jiffy bag.... Any real savings would only be achieved if they are reliant on a Royal Mail letter/large letter/small parcel/parcel pricing structure and very little if still on an older average weight price structure.
  12. The other thing I note is that most jiffy type bags have a plastic liner/air bubbles bonded to the paper outer, meaning the same number of materials as the ops’ picture, and more difficult to separate(if at all) at a recycling plant when ultimately disposed of....
  13. Royal Mail or courier? Most couriers have a minimum parcel size to ensure items smoothly travel through their conveyor belts.
  14. I must admit I don’t rate this “let’s interview the sportsman 3 seconds after the event and before they have caught their breath” whether it be F1, athletics or any other sport. Let them get their breath back and give a coherent thought.
  15. Flash itself is widely used to write websites that can be accessed by different internet browsers, it is therefore an easy way to write malicious code if you host a malicious website. For sites like channel 4’s player it should be ok I personally set my browser to prompt to run on a use by use basis, rather than its default always alllow: https://www.tomsguide.com/us/flash-click-to-run-how-to,news-20422.html I know IT support folk that don’t trust it and disable it completel across entire networks, and some that are quite happy with it...
  16. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I think the idea of trying the tv in a neighbours flat is a great one and will get on this over the weekend. I will then get onto the block managers on Monday and see if their records show the type of aerial fitted.
  17. Ohhh and I have changed the lead from wall to tv as part of my testing.
  18. So I live in a ground floor flat and normally rely on the communal Aerial on a passive basis. Since the recent retuned the Oxford transmitter I have found that I can: only receive the bbc cohort of channels with an signal amplifier in the loop connected to an indoor aerial. only receive channel 4/itv cohort, without the signal amplifier in the loop, from the communal aerial. Cannot receive Dave/pick etc at all (but can get enough of the signal for the tv to tune them epg etc). Our neighbours don’t have an issues....I don’t have another tv or freeview box to test with. Any thoughts to the likely cause as the flipping between the two aeriels is annoying.
  19. You may also wish to look at dxo https://www.dxo.com/us/digitalcamerauk depending on the functions you use.

  21. I have noticed the Waitrose in Wallingford has a turntable, the artic drives on, presses a button and it turns the entire truck and trailer round to line up with the loading bay. It can then drive out forward afterwards. Are these common, but hidden or the exception?
  22. Mmmm Freddy bars....https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/formula1/mclaren-f1-staff-revolt-over-25p-chocolate-bars-given-to-them-as-a-reward-for-their-hard-work/ar-AAyYSTs?li=BBoPWjQ&ocid=mailsignout Have seen several workplaces manage to turn a “reward” such as doughnuts into a farcical demovitional event in the past...normally through a tightwad ensuring everyone gets their single one and don’t dare take a second...
  23. Any other new devices or lights/lamps in the room that could be emitting infrared? One of my tablets and a previous phone have infrared ports.
