    Never. Until Accurascale announced the 50 which is my favourite loco. It's not cheap but compared with other releases it isn't too bad.

    Hi all. I've got an Atlas Classic GP7/GP9 chassis I found in my stash that is in perfect condition & runs sweetly. I think I took the body off for another project months back. Would anyone know which bodies are interchangeable with this or if any can be jerry-rigged onto the chassis? Would be nice to get a shell & make a new loco. Happy to do a little modding but don't want anything too major. TIA!

    There's also a Dapol JCB shoehorned in between the Clubman & the Turbo models! Rule 1 but I think they'd use a proper crane rather than a digger to fix the units in reality! 😆

    Other than a bit of extra surface water & a few twigs down it's relatively normal & calm here in Sussex. Other than the car in front of me this morning who thought minor surface water = driving at 15 mph on a major road! Eye of the storm must be passing over as there's not a breath of wind where I am!

    Went to Petworth Park yesterday for the first time in 20+ years. Hundreds of deer but definitely rutting season! Couple of pics of the beautiful stags. A couple of them were competing.

    Have pre-ordered 50149. Personally I think the Railfreight livery really suited the 50s! 🤪 If they'd kept the slow speed control & rheostatic braking during the rebuilds I wonder if they'd have been more of a freight success?!

    New one today. Made an offer each (£4.50) on two low value items (<£5 each) that were getting no auction interest with only a few hours left. Seller declined offer stating "would like to maximise auction sale". So instead of getting an instant £9 (+postage) they would rather refuse, fail to sell & have to relist again (with potential fees) for only a £1 gain? I can understand if my offer was low on a high value item. Is this a common theme for low value items?
