  1. Update: Draxbridge is currently undergoing a overhaul. As part of this, a lot of track requires pulling up. The work includes removing the 2 points, crossover, siding and headshunt on the scenic section and the headshunt, point and curve in the fiddleyard. Then I will be installing 3 new points, a new headshunt and siding. Photos of the progress I've made so far:
  2. Class 158 158743 passes 46115 Scots Guardsman at Scarborough on 06/07/23.
  3. You are aware this topic is for class 150 to 159 DMUs only right? That's a Class 170. Please remove this post from this topic.
  4. "[...]scheduled trains being turned over to historic steam locomotives like Tornado, Prince of Wales or Flying Scotsman replacing their modern units" I wouldn't class Prince of Wales and Tornado as historic. The class of loco they are, yes they are historic but the actual locos are modern.
  5. A class 185 DMU. No manufacturer has made a ready to run version yet. Currently they are being only used by one TOC: TransPennine Express. But they've carried 3 liveries throughout their career.
  6. Has anyone made a model in N gauge yet? I'm trying to source one for Draxbridge.
  7. I found two: "threee" and "erors". Can't find any others
  8. Spitfires, Spitfires everywhere. Spitfires at the Flying Legends airshow at Leeds East Airport in Church Fenton on 15/07/23. There was 14 at the event! I even got to go in the cockpit of the Spitfire in the second photo!
  9. I've booked a place to go on the Scarborough Spa Express on the 31st of August. I hope this situation doesn't affect the railtour.
  10. The Jacobite services have been suspended from operating by the ORR because of "‘a couple of issues of concern' in relation to the management of the hinged door rolling stock that is used on the Jacobite service" Full page here: https://www.railadvent.co.uk/2023/07/further-jacobite-steam-train-cancellations-due-to-issues-of-concern-from-orr. I don't know if this will have any effect on WCRC's other railtours such as The Scarborough Spa Express which I've booked a ticket for.
  11. Here's my photos of 153376 at York on two different days. 26/05/23 - stabled in York parcel sidings opposite platform 11. The DRS Class 66 next to the 'skateboard' is 66422 Max Joule 1958-1999 16/06/23 - About to depart from platform 9. The same 66 from before is in the background.
  12. BREAKING NEWS!!! The Jacobite services that run from Fort Willam to Mallaig in Scotland operated by West Coast Railway Company, have been suspended from operation by the Office if Road and Rail. This is due to the Inspectors finding "a couple of issues of concern [...] in relation to the management of the hinged door rolling stock on the Jacobite Steam Train" the services have until a solution is found and members of the public who paid for the trips are getting refunds. 13. Currently, I only have a few items of rolling stock: BR Mk1 Ex-BG Network Rail generator coach BR Mk1 BCK Network Rail 2 HHA Hopper wagons in Freightliner livery, A pair of MJA wagons in Freightliner livery A pair of IOA wagons in Network Rail livery An ISP Snowplough I'm hoping to get some more at some point including: T7 Translator vehicle (converted Class 313) Caroline observation vehicle 3 JNA falcon wagons Another Network Rail IOA Another Freightliner HHA FEAB Spine wagons I've already pre-ordered a Mk2F BSO and TSO in Network Rail livery, a DVT in Network Rail livery and a nuclear flask wagon. 26/07/23 A couple of days ago I received this in the post: It's a FEAB Spine wagon twin pack which I brought from Rails of Sheffield for about £30. Not bad! 29/12/23 Since I last posted, I cancelled 3 of the pre-orders I made and I'm still waiting on the DVT. But recently, I bought the new Network Rail Mk2f BSO off eBay and I'm hoping to get round to ordering the TSO at some point. So that brings my Network Rail track testing train to 3 coaches.
  14. For the locos, I will be, hopefully, getting a Colas 37, another GBRf 66, a Freightliner 66, a DBS 66, a DRS 66, 2 DBS 67s and 2 DRS class 68s. For the wagons, I've already got 2 HHA Hopper wagons in freightliner livery, a pair of MJA wagons in Freightliner livery, a pair of IOAs in Network Rail livery, a Network Rail ISP and a Mk1 BG and a Mk1 BCK in Network Rail livery. I've pre-ordered a T7 translator vehicle, a Nuclear flask wagon, a Mk2F BSO and TSO in Network Rail livery and a DVT in Network Rail livery. I don't when when they'll be coming though.
