  1. Just had a call from them and they say they will send the model to me this week.
  2. I am also experiencing this same problem. Emails not answered from two weeks ago, phone not answered, messages left, not answered. I even spoke to them on their stand at Warley, they said all relevant orders like mine were sent in the post on 23rd Nov. Nothing has arrived here, no information, no tracking number, just a complete lack of anything. They are still not answering the phone again today, or returning calls following messages.
  3. I have an older Graham Farish Class 47, 371-825A in two tone green. I tried the body from that older green one on one of the new Next18 chassis and it fits perfectly, the headcode box lining up nicely with the more modern lighting fitted to the new chassis. In fact, as far as I can see, the new chassis is very similar to the previous, only the PCB and 6 pin socket being replaced by the new PCB with Next18 socket, the speaker going where the old 6 pin decoder would have been. The Next18 decoder fitting directly on top of the new PCB. It so happens that my older 6 pin chassis is a non runner, so, instead of repairing it, I will be buying another of the new 47s, just to gain the chassis and upgrade my existing 47 with Next18 benefits to lighting and sound.
  4. Yes, I asked Mike Hale about them. He said they have not yet had a production delivery date. That's all he could tell me, saying that's all the information they have at this stage.
  5. May I suggest, with the announcement of these new Mk3 coaches, as well as another Manufacturer's Royal 47s, a set of Royal Train liveried Mk3s would be opportune ?
  6. I am sure the typical train formations of the suburbans have been appreciated, but I notice the formations used on the LMR into Euston daily have not yet been posted. I travelled on the rush hour trains from Watford Junction to Euston daily, from 1960 to 1964 and I noted then that only one eight coach formation was used. Perhaps there were others, but I did not see any variation myself. From the Euston end of the train it was : Brake second, composite (which also had a non smoking compartment and a ladies only compartment), 5 x second coaches and finally a brake second. Eight in all. The suburban coaches were used only for rush hour trains. During the day they would go through the carriage wash and be stored ready for the evening rush. A team of cleaners would sweep out each compartment, at the terminus, before going out for the next run. The trains were kept very clean, the passengers, as always, complained about how dirty they were, moaning loudly over the slightest blemish. During the day, stopping trains had older stock allocated, most often Stanier ex-LMS corridor stock, which I always thought was a bit of a treat and certainly made off peak travel a lot more attractive.
  7. Ben/Mike, could we please have an update on the delivery status of the TPE stock ?
  8. Thanks Adam, I've voted there. I also suggested the RailAdventures pair.
  9. The Digitrains sound file, for the Zimo decoder, on the 68 does indeed have a "DVT" mode, for use when pushing a train. The headlights are switched off and the tail lights are on, the horn is disabled for this also. But, it is set to only work in this mode in one direction, so you just have to make sure the right working end is coupled to the train. I have three so equipped, so have tested it. Mine are all N gauge, but the same Zimo specific sound file has been used from the OO gauge version. Needless to say, Digitrains also have a matching sound file to use in the DVT, intended for the MkV TPE sets, but would work for any DVT of course.
  10. I googled 3D print services in Kent, seems not too difficult to find low and high volume suppliers for you to try. Here's the link to the search : https://www.google.com/search?q=3d+print+services+in+kent&oq=3d+print+services+in+kent&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCDk3MDRqMGozqAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  11. Just for info, that video from Locomaster profiles is no longer available on VHS, but all the footage of the Midland Scotsman, as mentioned, is on their DVD called ‘Class 50 Finale – The Laira Years’ Per reply I had from Locomaster Profiles
  12. What video is this and where did you get it please ? I cannot find anything on a web search.
  13. Here are 3D print files you can buy to print your own 00 scale cars. Seems a wide selection from the 50s to the 90s. https://cults3d.com/en/tags/oo gauge
  14. I'm also looking, but in N scale, as I have some cartics ordered in N. I need quite a lot too and want to get all BMC, or all Ford if I can. I thought I had saved a link to someone doing them, painted too, but cannot find them right now. When I find them, I'll post it.
  15. 3D cars, try Dave at Megapoints. He knows the chap who printed all the cars for Making Tracks III, a couple of hundred of them. I think he may be offering them for sale and production. A quick search found these 1/87 on Shapeways : https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace/miniatures/vehicles?q=&sort=popularity&facet[pdcId][]=126&facet[pdcId][]=454&facet[pdcId][]=470&facet[price][min]=1&facet[price][max]=2500&facet[price][from]=1&facet[price][to]=2500 CMAC do a 6few 1/76 scale cars, including a Leyland Princess of the right era. 16. Might be too heavy as well. A better bet might be 3D printed models, which are widely available.
  17. I also would vote for the change to improve accuracy.
  18. Thank you, I appreciate you satisfying my idle curiosity :-) For the dust, I'd recommend using a toothbrush with a little soap and water, if it doesn't just brush off dry.
  19. Just for interest, are the points electrofrog ? What is the Peco product code please ?
  20. I don't follow, please explain what doesn't look good. I cannot see anything obvious and it looks fine to me. I certainly intend buying one, if I can still find stock. Hattons, I see, sold their entire blue/grey stock the first day, yesterday.
  21. Rapido responded to me in a couple of days with warranty details for return.
  22. Thanks Adam, please, when you do a Colas liveried loco, make it one that can be renumbered too, in the same detailed body.
  23. I, too, would like a Colas livery version please.
  24. LMS or ex LMS autocoach to go with the 2-6-2 with autocoach mechanism as promised, please.
