  2. We pay for return postage outside of the UK, for when the issue is damage or our fault!
  3. Always get in touch with our support team - they'll do all possible to sort you out, regardless where you are in the world.
  4. If you receive a crew that are in any way damaged or broken, please send them back immediately for replacement using our free and easy returns process (click Returns on the order in your account area)
  5. You can order with a £25 reservation, or split the cost over the next 6 months, may help! Also on arrival you can pay using PayPal Credit or Clearpay and further split the balance.
  6. Not at the moment, but DCC ready versions are in stock, you can then purchase the LokSound V5 for it, and the accurathrash speaker will be back in stock in about 3 weeks time so you can self upgrade to sound.
  7. Injection moulding requires tooling, then the figures have to be cleaned, then hand painted. They will never look as realistic as these full colour 3D printed versions, PLUS, you get the bonus of buying a fully Made in the UK product, supporting UK manufacturing and jobs! Yay!

  9. Lots of factory capacity (7 different facilities now) helps us work towards a post-pandemic post shortages level of predictable dates. As always if anything changes we’ll be forthright and clear in communications.

  11. The Manuals are common to all versions, in the packaging with your loco is a card with all the functions.
  12. The end of the Box, should have a Sound ICON and the SKU will end in DCC if it's sound fitted (which it is from your photo!)

  14. Obviously a sample, by definition, implies a work in progress, although I'm struggling to see what you're pointing at there Mick?

If it helps, the box size is both to standardise all locos from our range, and the result of many many hours of drop, ship and crush tests (bearing in mind our locos average twice the weight of those that have gone before) to ensure they can arrive with you safely. The packaging is 100% recyclable too, so the whole thing can happily go into your green bin or local recycling centre.
  16. Preorders open at launch and typically take a year or so to sell out (direct) and with a small deposit or no money down, we try make it as easy as possible to lodge your order right away. Agreed, it's not 100% on these samples, a little more fettle (updated samples are actually due with us today).

For those citing ESU identity issues, a firmware / update will be forthcoming from ESU which will update the controller to identify the small component changes necessitated by the various shortages of the last year. In short the chip has changed a little and the controller needs an update to not get confused. Hope that helps! (ps. all new loksounds (in the last year or so) have this small change we just got a lot of the stock)
  20. Can you DM me the ticket number as assuming it was a warranty issue that should have been resolved absolutely no issue once the parts were in stock.
