Mosty customers are very happy with them, and personally, I think they look extremely accurate and detailed from normal viewing distances - they certainly aren't the garish solid painted types that have been available heretofore, and perhaps that takes adjustment, but we continue innovating and pushing :) Bear in mind the photos don't hugely do them justice, artificially highlighting 'furriness' that isn't there to the eye, https://www.accurascale.com/collections/crews-and-people - check the reviews on these and earlier versions to get a feel

Locomotive Spares for Modellers (Rather than for warranty)
McC replied to D400's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
For the sake of clarity we do stock extensive spares which are readily available shortly after main stocks come into hand. We’re always happy to supply parts where required we just don’t currently have an option to ‘sell’ parts -

Correct, has been mentioned a few times above but (holy moly) we're on 202 pages!! Large logo final photos are being done at the moment - and my they look good, even if I say so myself! -

Our speakers actually get bought for lots of other things so including them as standard might be wasteful plus the deltic and 37 have different fixings for example. We hope to add a suitable range of options at a nominal (at cost) price that you can pick when ordering a speaker. -

Another order of AccuraThrash will be in stock soon if it helps. The full specification and ID of the speaker are listed on the website should you wish to google it. It’s simply a custom OEM speaker from Tangband. hope that helps! -
Aha! That i did not know and it’s good to do so. Thank you Alan!

Indeed run 1 was only £160 :) I’m the Managing Director of accurascale and irish railway models. My apologies if my signature didn’t give it away :) My general point is that a wagon at £40 from some suppliers versus one from us, say, at £20 odd doesn’t infer relative quality any more and the £20 wagon might have 130 parts versus the £40 wagon with 50 and poorer painting and printing. It’s a tough time to be a consumer but a wealth of choice and competition is great for the hobby and one of the core reasons accurascale was established. From our point of view we’re entering a golden age.
