    Excellent ! You're on Cambridge road bridge, the footbridge you see is 'Alley Bridge' which was the most popular spotting location for us as kids. The Down main signal the Deltic has passed under is on a post in my back garden.

    What about the scenario that you have an accident and depart early so your estate goes to your more elderly parents, you don't cross the IHT threshold but with your's and their estates now combined it does. They then depart within a couple of years after you and the siblings then get hit with a tax bill. A simple will splitting it across the family would do (50/50 parents/siblings). . .or give the lot to the Deltic Preservation Society. . .you know you want to.

    I purchased 58 from C&L, it was a couple of years ago under the previous owner but worth checking with the new owner Phil. I emailed several suppliers asking for a quote on the 58 motors and C&L came back with a discounted price if I purchased as one lot. The others emailed offered a small amount off, but no where near the same as C&L.

    Gas works does rise from KX as it heads North except for a short section when it has to dive under the Regents Canal Basin. I've got a sectional drawing somewhere that shows something like 4 bricks making up the basin bottom and tunnel top.

    Or Like my Father you can have a solicitor draft the will who gets paid to do so, then witnesses the will and also inserts himself as an executor and receives a payment for being one. That took just under 3 years to sort out......

    This is a little off topic but a few days go I found this photo. Not long after the line decended under York Road to join the widened lines there was a spur that linked York Rd with the Westbound, this is the abandoned spur tunnel on the right with the Moorgate line on the left.

    So to paraphrase. You make a statement that you can't back up to prove a point you want to make. I question that statement as my own experience is different By asking for some evidence I'm 'point scoring' You reckon your original claim still holds true, even though you can't prove it and I'm bickering with you for questioning your claim Congratulations, you've win the prize for the best bollox post of the day.

    Sheesh I asked a simple question of how you could qualify the statement "The Majority" as my own experience differed. Obviously you can't, but I'm a pedant for asking. Nice one.
