We've just come back from a circular trip up around the Northeast (and across a bit), these are just a few snaps taken along the way
Bempton Cliffs nr Bridlington, never been this close to a gannet before.
They were coming in 2-3 at a time for nesting material just at the top of the cliff.
You can never have enough Robins.
A Stonechat at Alnmouth.
I snapped this one as although they are not rare for some people, we've gone from a colony of about 10-15 in the garden to 1 or 2 occasional visitors over the last 4 years.
And at Kielder we saw this little Vole stocking up, the speed he moved at made taking a pic quite a challenge, as you pressed the shutter he was in the viewfinder when the shutter closed he was gone! I had a few blurs but managed to get 2 out of about 8 shots taken.
A few more of Puffins etc but they need cropping abit.
