  1. The Hornby Limby power bogie might be the better option, runs exceptional well, and they made one for the Lima 101.
  2. Got a feeling the bay platform at Oxted for the Uckfield trains is not electrified.
  3. Not sure you understand the principle of a measuring stick, you don't always have to read measurements from the end.
  4. No just the cab hand rails, driver Fourmil has heck of a job getting in and out of the cab.
  5. But if Bachmann do design clever no one bats an eyelid, moudled in handrails, tender brake blocks moulded with the tender frame, gearbox mount protruding from the firebox, no tender pickups.

Not if Precision paints blue is anything to go by.
  7. They seemed to be a NE/LNER thing, probably the wheels off the A3
  8. Just seen on Farcebook the Railgun has won Model Rail rolling stock of the year award.

    Better than the Deltic.

  12. Yes, I just had to authorise the price increase, I had the impression these had been further delayed, good news this is one I have been looking forward to.
  13. It connects one side of the pickups to the motor brush.
  14. Rails have it at a RRP of £19.95 so I have ordered the Stewards Lane one ideal for my area.
  15. I just used to build them to be fast.
  16. Two RTR models have been available as already said the Hornby model dimensional errors excepted wasn't that bad for Hornby at the time. And the odd scale Trix model.
  17. Just needs a phat zorst and neon lights.
  18. This was my final invoice with the discount Edit, wasn't it the first so many orders had the discount?
  19. My discount was applied when they took the money from my card.
  20. Hmm, not sure if there was a finishing process and one of mine escaped it, but one is noticeably 3D printed. Interesting 3d printed weight.
  21. Mine runs fine on my old AMR feedback controller.
