  1. For the undercoat you could probably do no better than what the 12" to the foot version did, and use pink. There were more than one supplier in BR days of Maroon, in fact no less than four though they all used BR provided paint panels as a match. Bob.
  2. that's a hard one to Swallow..... Have to admit though, they never looked better than they did in that 1991 livery. Wore it better than APT-P
  3. They were Vacuum Braked as built but were retrofitted with Air Brakes in 1987. Not sure what the restriction on Class 87s was.
  4. No, 5A72 is the ECS to form 1A72 - if you read the caption it explains "Here on May Day Bank Holiday Monday 7th May 1990 91006 stands in the centre road at Wakefield Westgate with 5A72, the stock to form the 1703 Leeds Kings Cross Relief whilst 91001 approaches with the 1603 Leeds Kings Cross Relief." - both on or to form a passenger working. Why admit you were wrong and then do a complete about turn. No RTC stock or test trains.
  5. No test trains to be seen...,., Where's your proof? There's only one charter in there - the Pullman the rest, if you took the time to click on each photo, is a regular working.
  6. Time to back off guys - whenever you say it never happened, you can almost certainly guarantee it did and someone will find it for you. I worked for INTERCITY East Coast & GNER but I can still get it wrong. Lets see what Cavalex have in store.....
  7. And not a Test Train, RTC vehicle or whatever in sight. There's no doubt for a short while they were used for anything and everything at times on regular services. So no one needs an excuse to buy a Class 91.
  8. Same Apple software versions but on a MacBook - No problems at all, clicking Browse causes the sub menu's to appear and remain unless you click on or away from them. To qualify that if after clicking browse the cursor is away from the the browse tab or the sub menu's, the menu's quickly disappear.
  9. That was by the actual workings I have for last week Philip - totalling 14 off Euston there may however have been for whatever the reason a reduction. When I asked Caledonian Sleeper about it, they said the new stock would follow the same formations (obviously different vehicles)!
  10. Are you sure it's 16 on the Highlander off of Euston? It's currently running 7 for Inverness, 5 for Aberdeen and 2 for Fort William. Plus 2 added in Edinburgh to the Fort William 2.
  11. Don't worry Mike, your local GP will sort you out in that department, if you're feeling a bit Hornby.
  12. It should be Phillip - the two dropped off at Edinburgh from the Southbound Highlander from Fort William are added back on to the following mornings Northbound Highlander ex-Euston again at Edinburgh. According to Serco Caledonian Sleeper last week, the same will be done with the new stock.
  13. That'll be easy enough - (Abellio) ScotRail don't have any!
  14. Wasn't it just the Western allocation that had been authorised for replacement rather than the whole fleet ? All of the Western loco's bar 70021 apparently were modified.
  15. Are you operating it on DCC or DC? Either way, have you confirmed (using a loco) that the controller is reversing correctly? Strange that both should have the same apparent fault as they should irrespective, reverse the lights as the direction changes.
  16. If anyone in the area is still looking for ScotRail Mk3a TSO's, Mac's Models at Kirriemuir still has some available at £34.95
  17. You're at least consistent about constantly finding an opportunity to bang on about it. If you don't like their prices don't buy them. It's your choice, their product and sales approach. Did you moan about the Rapido Dynamometer Car?
  18. You're tying yourself up in knots here - the image Phil Parker took, is a 3D print too which DJ has added painted panels to represent some of the features whether they are bodylights doors or grilles. Nothing is missing or at face value in the wrong place and certainly not the extra door you claimed originally.
  19. Apologies to Phil Parker for Ba$trd1$ing his image.....
  20. Give the guy a break - that's not a door you are seeing it's the small bodylight that should be there - he's applied black paint / panels to represent the locations.
  21. It defaults to Apple Pay - Below the (Apple)Pay black button, there's a clickable link marked "More Payment Options" selecting that lets you change it to Paypal.....
  22. Thanks, that's what I meant / hoped it would be as per the prototype....
  23. With the Mk5's (as opposed to the 5A's I've no idea about them) that would need to be all the vehicle types - depending on the operational split.
  24. Already done! Quick question though... Are the Mk5's complete with switchable working tail lamps?
  25. A not unreasonable price at £270 for the Aberdeen six-pack. Result.....!
