Perhaps he should auction it properly starting at 99p!

Ah but Ian, look who'se selling it. It's our Mr Gostude!
  3. I was waiting to see who spotted that one.....( as another well known Captain used to say).................!
  4. A comparison between CK's snap and one that I prepared earlier!
  5. Fascinating stuff Cap'n. It's really good to see mothballed branches being brought back to earn revenue. How is the loading done with reference to the length of the train and the level crossing gates?
  6. Oh dear, that's the sort of thing that I first thought about! Looking lovely.
  7. If this will appease the naysayer MPs in the Chilterns then perhaps this may be the answer to actually get agreement and moving on despite the additional £500m cost....or could it be the beginning of the end for the project...? "The 100-mile rail link, which would be built between 2016 and 2026, aims to cut the London-to-Birmingham journey time to 49 minutes. " I see that the BBC only focussed on one thing again and not the vital implications for capacity relief issues elsewhere.

Another 'dealer' who lists stuff at a BIN price. I suppose that if auctioned it wouldn't make much!

    EBay madness

I don't know where this person gets the brass neck to sell such unidentifiable cr*p at ludicrous prices!... There must be plenty of suckers out there!

Another rare finescale plaster model. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2316da5575 And, oh yes it's not Hornby......and lo.... there it is in the Hornby listings!

At that price I'm tempted to sell mine. Private buyer listing again.

Ah but it's our Mr Gostude again. Like Mr Micmcn above!

    EBay madness

Ah but it's our old friend Mr Micmcn (of Cartmel) who has had, at the last count, this http://www.ebay.co.u...=item45fd68d591 thing for sale 3 to 4 years now! As I have previously posted that I put one up at the same time as him and got around £1.50 for it, and the buyer wasn't even happy with his purchase so I gave him his money back, which in a perverse way gave me some satisfaction!

    EBay madness

If I was wanting to bid for one or the other I would want to be sure that the picture is 'individual'. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19cab0a583 and http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sheerness-steel-scrap-wagon-PXA-/110772912153?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item19ca948019They appear to be the same image. ....I could be wrong of course!
  15. Re6/6

    EBay madness

They do look particularly nice, but if I wanted to pay that sort of money for a second one I would want to see a picture of it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sheerness-steel-scrap-wagon-PXA-/110774756739?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item19cab0a583 The pictures look to be one and the same shot?...but then it is a market...!
  16. Re6/6

    EBay madness

........unbelievable! It seems to be a nice item but not worth that I think. Didn't somebody do a whitemetal kit for these JXAs?

    Now up to £92! http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=110772912153
  18. L ovely piece of work there Chris. I do like the engine house where you've put it!
  19. Re6/6

    EBay madness

That's precisely what I mean Ian. Very fishy IMHO!

Odd bidding here. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=110772912153 or am I missing something?
  21. Thanks Vincent. I can now start working things out!
  22. Just finished a tedious session making some Captain's style loco storage boxes.
