  1. There is a "Disc Signal" co-sited with (maybe just slightly in advance of) the Down Home Signal at Moretonhampstead (shown in the above book) and I wondered what colour the lens would have been in the "On" position. As the "Disc Signal" is to allow movement in advance of the Home Signal I would think that the Lens would have been white? Maybe the same in your scenario?
  2. Saving the best till last! Camden wouldn't be complete without 46245.
  3. My original post with additional information can be found here: https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/6622-class-08-09-variations/
  4. I believe EM Gauge Timbers are pre-punched for P4 and use a larger diameter Rivet which is off-set at EM Gauge making fixing of chairs requiring additional work. As the use of Rivets will be supplemented with glued chairs I will probably drill the holes and use smaller dia Rivets making the fixing of chairs slightly easier.
  5. Who manufactures the Rivet Press / Hole Punch and is it still available?
  6. If the 230s are a "short term" solution, what was wrong with keeping the 150s / 153s?
  7. Hello Fabrice, Thank you for posting your Tokenless Block System update; I will take a look at it and see if I can incorporate it in my Moretonhampstead plan. I am pleased I managed (with the help of my son) to get your Signalbox Interlocking Program modified and working with my Moretonhampstead Signal Interlocking . In particular I like the "Printing to Monitor" function where it shows what is happening as you change the Levers. I was also so impressed with your LocoNet set up that I am now looking at getting the Arduino linked up to the MERG CBUS System using a MCP 2515 CAN BUS Module.
  8. Hello Fabrice, Thank you for sharing your latest version of your Arduino Sketch, much appreciated and very inspirational.
  9. Thank you for sharing the photos of 46240 & 46245. 46245 was my favourite Duchess although I still have fond memories of 'cabbing' 46240 whilst she was on Bletchley Shed as the Standby Engine for the Royal Train.
  10. I did suggest "I thought they were designed for Mixed Traffic hence 4MT." (see reply 7 posts down from the one you quoted) but was accused off "being a little picky" !!
  11. I thought they were designed for Mixed Traffic hence 4MT.
  12. I use a "Proving Unit" before using a Meter to carry out any testing. Similar to:- https://martindale-electric.co.uk/product/pd710-700v-dc-proving-unit/
  13. Ray, Thank for your comprehensive reply; it has given me some encouragement to have a go at making my own Lever Frame. I like the method of the initial "Tack" Soldering and then clamping it all together to finish off the Soldering. I wonder what Solder and Flux you used? I do have a 3 Spare Levers on which I can practice.
  14. Ray, You've done a good job with the Lever Frame; I wonder how you got on with Laminating the Levers?
  15. I lost interest in Railways at the end of Steam when young ladies became of interest. I rekindle my interest in the early 80s. I agree it will be nice to see the reopening of the Oxford Branch. It will make getting to / from Didcot GWS at lot easier that's for sure.
  16. Ah ok, I now have a better idea of the location now. Just the other side of the Newfoudout is where the single line Chord use to be, linking the Down Fast to Fletton Sidings Signal Box. I used to have a ride on the Engine (typically a Black Five) on the Bletchley to Lambs Siding (travelling wrong line on the Down Fast) and the Lambs Siding to Swanbourne Sidings Brick Train. The Driver used to stop on the Chord to drop me off so that I could walk back to the Station.
  17. Thank for the conformation, it was all the over grown trees that was confusing me! I used to spend many an hour Spotting at Bletchley Station during the early to mid 60s. I travelled on the last Passenger Train from Buckingham with M79900 and on the same day, the last trains on the Wolverton to Newport Pagnell with 41222. Happy Days! I used to watch the 15:50 Cambridge to Oxford (Platform 8) and the 15:53 Oxford to Cambridge (Platform 7) Trains traverse across the Main Lines.
  18. I assume the picture is taken "looking North" where the Oxford Branch passed under the Flyover to gain access to Bletchley Platforms 1 & 2 the PSB being on the left ?
  19. Clive, thank you for the information; I thought that was the case but couldn't be sure. When I used to be a young Spotter at Bletchley Station in the early 60s I used to be able rattle off all the stations on the Oxford to Cambridge Branch Lines and the Rugby to London Euston Main Lines much to the amusement of the Station Master and his staff. Happy days, just wished I had a Camera to have recalled it all.
  20. Bletchley allocated DMU's which carried 2 Two digit Codes B1, B2, B3 to denote different Routes. The B3 Code denoted a Bletchley to Bedford Service and lasted into the BR Blue Era. I'll see if I can find the B1 & B2 Codes, probably the Bletchley to Oxford and Bletchley to Buckingham Services.
  21. D3054 & D3055 were allocated to Rugby at the time, although, I agree the last digit looks to be a "4"
  22. I was in two minds as to whether to provide a "Contents List" as this doesn't really do justice to any book. It's whats in each "Chapter" that counts and in my view, this book does very well in that department.
  23. Are you interested in any particular chassis? I have a surplus Dean Goods Loco & Tender Chassis Kit.
