  1. It's been a while since I used "Throttle", have you tried looking at this:- http://jmri.sourceforge.net/help/en/html/tools/throttle/ToolsMenuThrottleEntry.shtml
  2. In BR Days (1960s) I seem to recall there was a Permanent 30MPH Speed Restriction around that area (Verney Jcn to Claydon) due to Land Slip / Track sub-base issues. My late Father would have known, but I was just a young Lad at the time!
  3. Yes something very strange going on there. If you follow the link I quoted you will see an additional space on the end of the URL. If you remove this space it will hopefully take you to the Class 105, says he!! If not just click on "Images" then you can select "Class 105 Parcels" Units. I Inspected the link on here and found there is a %C2%A0 on the end of the URL which is most likely causing the problem.
  4. This photograph would suggest perhaps not. http://www.railcar.co.uk/images/1751
  5. Having the Wife in the Passenger Seat always seems to work for me!
  6. Their Website http://www.directtrainspares-burnley.co.uk/stockists.html
  7. Hi Chris, There is reference to the layout here https://www.pressreader.com/uk/model-rail-uk/20160602/281767038459616 possibly June / July 2016
  8. I've been whistling the tune ever since I heard the sad news, RIP Sir Ken.
  9. Try contacting via:- http://www.sprog-dcc.co.uk/
  10. Have a word with your Local Building Control Officer; they are usually very friendly and helpful. Good luck with your project.
  11. My building is also 7 x 3 Metres so I interpreted the Regulations:- Building a detached garage of less than 30 square metres floor area would not normally need building regulations approval if: the floor area of the garage is between 15 square metres and 30 square metres, provided the garage is at least one metre from any boundary, or it is constructed from substantially non-combustible materials. So, my building being mainly of wood construction has the requisite 1 Metre Clearance at the Property Boundary. P.S - One of the advantages of having a 1 Metre Clearance all round is that you can carry out any maintenance from within your own property and don't have to worry about gaining access from a neighbouring property.
  12. The following Link should answer your Building Regulations questions and your Local Building Control Office will confirm. https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/43/outbuildings/2
  13. One thing that should be taken into consideration is "Article 4 of the Planning Consent" with regards to "Permitted Development Rights". See :-- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_4_direction for further information. Article 4 applies to my property so I had to submit Planning Permission (Free of Charge) which was duly granted. The last thing I wanted was to spend £1000's building the "Out Building" only to be told to take it down.
  14. Some of us who remember them in their twilight years would disagree with that. 46233 in BR Green was very popular.
  15. This is my Self Build "Manshed" http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/65898-insulated-lean-to-extension-what-to-expect/page-2&do=findComment&comment=890468
  16. Being of a combustible material you would need a 1 Metre Gap between your building and your property boundary to meet Building Control / Planning Permission. Search for Permitted Development rights. https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/43/outbuildings/2
  17. You mean like this:- https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/farmer-who-built-castle-hidden-7658785
  18. 84008 was a 14D Neasden Engine at the time.
  19. The Locomotive Depot is recorded as Closed in August 1968. I wonder if the Depot changed to a Stabling Point hence the reference to Tops Code:- LH
  20. There's at least one article of interest to me in there!
  21. That was the date quoted in the Engine Shed Society Listings.
