    Well that was a great day. I went to London to do my trainee train driver assessment, and one of the questions that were on the form was do you have a disability. TICK! Yes. please talk to the person that is handling the assessments. I dully did only to be advised that at the time of registration for the assessments I was supposed to call them and let then know that I had a disability.     I have been reading through the "practise booklet" for the job that applied for as a trainee train driver, but it is going to a hell of a tough set of tests that will be carried out to see if you are trainable. But as I feel that my dyslexia and the the depression I suffer from, might not be successful, but I am trying to be positive about the situation and I shall continue with the practise test that are in the booklet.     I have a job interview tomorrow but it means going self employed, , and I have doubts if it is the right way for me to go.

      Not necessarily so. Could be an Interview for a position where you have to be self employed like that taxi thing Ubar or whatever it is called. Terry needs to be very careful about this sort of set up.

      It was for a company that transfers cars on trade plates. I had a friendly chat about the job, and it's pitfalls. I said at the end of the interview that it is not what I was looking for.

      Ah. I did that once on a part time basis but cash in hand and it is bloody hard work in the winter months. You can also get left in the middle of nowhere having delivered to a private customer (usually some posh car) and they don't offer you a lift ton the nearest station or main road/bus stop. No protection as an employee and if the vehicle was damaged.......

      Keep going Terry, there will be something. Put this down to experience.

    Why has it become so difficult to find employment, I keep searching the job sites on the internet but it has got to the point that the brain is in information overload and it dose not know weather to come or go.

      share your pain terry sick of every job being through bloody rip off agencys but at least im getting interviews now . little tip terry if you can drive look up forde recruiting get theodd day collecting end of lease cars for them and doesent affect bennefits

      The thing in my case, The DVLA (Driving Vehicle Licence Agency) revoked all my driving licence as I have LGV/HGV class 1(including my car licence) due to an incorrectly dialogised case of sleep apnoea, I am currently in a battle with the DVLA to get my licences reinstate, but as with all government originations it is taken so long for them to make a decision.     Just had my fortnightly visit to the local joke shop. Talk about getting people to understand that I have limitations on the work that I can do. As forcing me to take a job that could make me unhappy is not the way forward.

    I took a phone call of a job offer at "Stanstead Airpoirt", small problem the DVLA has revoked my HGV/LGV and Car license.
