Feeling a bit lost on what to do with Leahurst Road. It is more-or-less complete with very little left to do and I'm happy with how it has turned out. Just what to do now? It is quite operationally limited and it can only have 3 trains on it at any one time.... What to do?

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of tired, outstripped Five-Nines that dropped behind.

Just chatting to an old railwayman and found out he was drafted in WW2 to work on Mosquito engines then transferred to tanks in India, they hadn't got any tanks so he got a Bren Gun Carrier! Amazing stories when you just get chatting to the the retired railwaymen
