  1. Jim, I fully understand and that’s why we have asked for proof of loading to ship to know we are as scheduled, As a missed boat can lead to serious delays. We’ve never had an issue yet and the only delays have been in HK waiting customrekease which can take up to a week for clearance... This was a light hearted conversation until it got heavy !!
  2. I don’t think there is any need t I don’t think there is any need to be sarcastic, I’m not asking for that amount of detail just a realistic delivery date and I don’t believe it’s an excuse to say that these are only model trains... I don’t want to be critical but it’s all down to good project management. I wish we could say to our customers you might get them sometime this year......
  3. I don’t think that’s the case at all, the shipping companies track their containers all over the world so Bachmann would know exactly where they are the same as we do with our panels for the Hong Kong Metro. At each change point you can get an update, we’ve been sent video evidence of the containers being loaded and unloaded. It’s more about the promises they make with delivery dates (again) that is causing the frustration. Just keen to get our hands on this one
  4. Unless the container fell of the boat
  5. That Bachmann container must be lost on the back of a lorry somewhere. I'm sure that boats on it's way back to China by now.....
  6. I do like the GBRf one's, something about the colour, hopefully more to come...
  7. I think this model is going to be really popular, probably similar to the Class 68. An upgrade has been long overdue and I'm looking forward too it. Hopefully an EWS, GB and an Aggregates liveried model will follow on in the near future.
  8. I wonder what's happened to the two latest Class 70's ? The Freightliner was due at the end of May ??
  9. I notice that 66750 and 751 don't have curved edged buffers. Not sure if there are any more. I saw the proto tonight and checked a couple either way.
  10. I have far too many and won't be parting with any of them. They might not be perfect but they run really well and look the part in my eyes. Personally I think the older liveries like the original EWS will be slow sellers, but I'm sure the batch quantities will be reduced so less to move.
  11. Yes likewise and mine was weathered as well, really quick turn round. Excellent service from TMC.
  12. Interestingly they seem to keep selling irrespective of the standard, especially the limited editions recently released, or maybe it's because there is no alternative. One positive on the Bachmann 66 is that the couplers work, unlike the Hornby 56 and 60 that derail the leading wagon..
  13. An upgrade well and truly overdue for this model. And a great surprise. Be interesting to understsnd the quantity of each variant as a flood like this surely will not sell, lots of Class 68s from the second run still about. A good range of liveries but surprised as previously stated there are no celebrities listed...see still lots of Bachmann EWS liveries ones from the last release still available I wonder whether these will sell !
  14. It's GWR fest and that's about it !!
  15. Very nice indeed, I see it comes with a DB logo on the front if you don't have the additional First London - Yuwi Train label added. The DB livery looks so much better than the EWS livery it replaced.
  16. So Dave, like all good project managers do you have any time lines for the ongoing development of the Class 92... Design Buy Off, Tool Manufacture, Initial samples etc etc.... Sorry if it sounds a bit impatient...
  17. I'd be surprised they'd give away a BCC model in the listing, but you never know ! I see the F/L Class 70 is imminent but the Colas one still outstanding, or just not listed ?.
  18. So I posed the question regarding the tail lamps on the digest, answer is:- Hi. Just to clarify the questions re: tail lamps. the modeller will be able to choose which end the lamp is on and it will light accordingly.
  19. Mine came back with the dummy power car packed the wrong way round, the coupling bar was wedged against the top surface of the poly tray, unbelievable !!
  20. Very nice, but a real shame it's not one of the latest Compass liveried 37's, unless that's still to come from another area !! The market has been flooded with this livery over the last year or so.....
  21. Here's some photos of 68019 & 021 behind 37608 as they passed through Stafford on 0Z68 Wembley European Freight Operations Centre to Crewe Gresty Bridge.
  22. Just unboxed mine which was repaired by Hornby and checked all the coaches and the bogies rotate freely without contacting the body sides although have absolutely no movement or play front to back. Presume this was the case originally. Will run it tomorrow. But Hornby have stated it's been track tested and all ok. We shall see.
  23. Just to clarify this was posted by Andy (Dapol Administrator) “Announcing the JHA (O&K) version 1 week ago We're please to say that we have started work on this model, which is intended for sale to coincide with that of our class 59 in OO.”
  24. Well, update from Hornby . Mine is on it's way back and will be delivered tomorrow. Presume repaired !
