  1. GUVs definitely did, but I've never seen a CCT in a passenger train. That may be because they were speed restricted?
  2. This picture has got me wondering, when was the RTC livery introduced and when was the last rolling stock wearing it repainted or scrapped?
  3. In that case I wouldn't rush to buy one as I suspect that they'll end up in the bargain sections within six months or so.
  4. So that looks like a MK3 TSO, MK1 RBR, MK3 RB?, MK2F? TSO all in one train!
  5. He has previously said in the Dapol MK3 thread that they probably will be doing MK3 Pullmans in the next batch.
  6. Clayton West 1982 by Awalker1 "This classic 16.5 tonner (Merchant Coal Open, or MCO) was used to supply coal for the signalbox at Clayton West Junction. "
  7. PVV APCM Cement Van 1992 Westbury by Adrian Nicholls
  8. Mine also arrived this morning and although when it was first announced I didn't think that it would take five years to get to production it was worth the wait. I am slightly disappointed though that the model of M55990 doesn't quite match the prototype...
  9. It's so that you can make them disappear when the missus sees them and starts asking about how much they cost...
  10. An interesting picture by Tom Burnham of one pulling a tail load at Matlock in 1972
  11. Yeah, I already own the book thanks, which when I read it made me even sadder about the place the place closing. I used to see it marked on old maps and I just presumed that it was some old fashioned company that went bankrupt due to not modernising, but the book showed me that that that was very much not the case.
  12. This is another one of those "places that I wish that I'd visited back in the day" Standard Wagon Works Heywood by Dallam Dave
  13. Does a train consisting of a single BCK really need a Buffet car? Georgemas Junction 179 by David Flett
  14. It looks like it's the same type as that ballast wagon recently released by Rapido. https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/74802/928009-Rapido-Diagram-1744-Ballast-Wagon-number-DS62402
  15. Nice one, it's rare to see pictures of them in the thin stripe variant of the livery.
