Has escaped the awful Team Building day because the 'team leader' is ill! There is a God!!!!
-
Is currently thinking of becoming a Bond villain, must be quite nice, at least I could pick my own hours! ;-)
-
Whilst on the way back from Bristol (having collected younger brother from college), Mr Brinkly saw a mini-bus fully of some of the fittest girls I have ever seen going on a hen night, frankly I'm surprised I didn't have a crash! ;-)

Despite being made in 1967, You Only Live Twice remains my favourite Bond film! 'It's another space craft! The Front is opening up!' Amazing!
-
Is thinking of setting up an evil organisation; multiple positions available. Please send your CV too

Just seen the price for non-members to get into Scaleforum. Nearly fell off my chair!!
-
Is travelling on one of the new GWR Hitachi trains to London. The first class seat isn't as nice as the model fitted in the HSTs. Shudder to think what standard class is like!
-
Is frankly amazing and should become King! ;-)

Back to work (school) today. Currently we have 42 out of 451 children in! Really Torbay!!

Probably "strenglich verboten" these days - haven't you heard - wasters always seem to have "human rights", even if everyone else doesn't.
After all, you know the reason corporal punishment was banned in schools? They ended up with some kids who were allowed to be disciplined and some who were not.
I suspect the ones who needed sorting out were in the "can't touch me" group.

Building wagons and listening to Fleming's Dr No. What could be better?

Saw SPECTRE last night. Amazing film, certainly worth the wait.
-
Bye, bye Windows 8!

17 children remain this afternoon out of 29 in my class and this has been replicated across our two-form entry school. Most are off following the government advice. So, when do the mass closures start!?
-
Has been enjoying the unexpected Snow Day by watching O Gauge ex GWR locos on Youtube - gosh it's tempting!

If anyone has a Malcolm Mitchell 45xx 4mm kit or a 55xx 4mm kit, please can you send me a PM. Ideally, un-built. I would also consider the Churchward Models 45xx kit too. I'm happy to pay sensible prices.

Amazing number of people clapping here! Thank you to all NHS workers and volunteers: it makes one proud to be British.

Cheers guys. The local priest came to bless our place of work yesterday. That brought some mixed emotions. Given the circumstances, some felt it more like we were being read the last rites and got very upset. But we carry on and with God's blessings, we'll come out the other side. Each week that goes by is one week closer to getting on top of it.

I heard the phrase something like "There is and end to this..." this morning. I believe it is the title of a book about very tough events to be dealt with and the author was talking on Radio 2 to Kate Botley and Jason Mohammed at about 8 this morning. She was lovely and calm and measured. Quite inspirational. Stay safe you all.

Just watched Sunday's Top Gear, the piece on a certain French car maker was very funny!
-
How many 45xx does one actually need, is 9 too many...

Is in love with my new iPad and my iPhone 5. Why did I not get one sooner?
-
Oh No! Whilst tidying up I've come across my old Lima Great Western Trains HST in Merlin colours! This could be a disaster!
-
Thank god it's only another two and a half weeks till the holidays!

I wonder which Muppets, sorry I mean apprentices will be fired this week?
