  16. A serious breakfast incident was recorded at Kernow Towers this morning, when a quantity of almond milk was discovered in the Captain's porridge.

     

    An investigation is now underway.

Just a quick word of thanks for the coach drawings available on your website.  I am still working on the LE7N 27ft 6 and 3/4inch U5 composite that was #6621 on the Malmesbury Branch, a class of just two coaches.  The Jack Slinn drawing is, of course, invaluable.  If time ever allows I'd love to build my way through the entire short coach collection.

     

    I came across the attached diagram by the late F W Chubb in a copy of Model Railway Constructor, August 1973, that I found in Marcway Models.  It was reproduced from the January 1952 MRC 'by popular request'.  I hope it may be of interest to you.  The magazines also included some of the GWR Royal Coach series articles and drawings.   1347198198_GWRCOACHDETAIL.jpg.721d0b8c87445a028b67274a53cf00dd.jpg

  22. I was taking a couple of friends in Oxfordshire to lunch when local white van man ran into the back of my car at a junction. Drivable home with caution but almost certainly a write off and friends still in Banbury A&E being checked out.
