  2. Have you tried the shop beginning with C or M or O or T they may be able to help.
  3. If Hattons had originally sold out of R3555 to pre-orders and Hornby had also sold out where did the extra stock come from?
  4. With Hattons having stocks of 'more than 10' left, has initial demand now dwindled for this loco or is the price a put off? Then again we don't know how many hundreds they have.
  5. They were discussing Wills on local radio today. One of the things mentioned was the problems that could be had with a DIY Will. Examples they gave seemed to be with complex Wills. Surely there can be no problems with a Will that is as simple as 'I leave my house, money and belongings to be shared equally between my two children 'names' (both adults), and no one else'. Signed, dated and witnessed. All under Inheritance Tax threshold. Or is there more to it than that.
  6. They are showing they have a higher level of intelligence. (Well that's what they believe.)
  7. I'm sure the chap you are referring to is Ken Ball, you may have seen him on a demo stand at the Wigan exhibition. I think I have an advice sheet of his somewhere, I will try and dig it out.
  8. Will this be appearing up the cutting? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/secret-little-house-between-lime-13808874?ptnr_rid=195723&icid=EM
  9. How did they think the new stock got there...
  10. It wouldn't surprise me if there are some modellers who are different and don't think they should have to pay for them like others do.
  11. Since my post (#58) I have been reading up on the problem of my TomTom turning itself on, it looks like it was down to a corrupt update and TomTom would not issue a fix.
  12. Your post still appears to contain some photobucket urls, maybe if they were deleted it may solve your problem.
  13. My 10 year old Tom Tom turns itself on every 7 days to the minute of its last use, I wondered why the battery was always flat. I don't know the reason for it doing this, says nothing about it in the manual.
  14. I have been happy with the service from my unsmart meter fitted I can't remember how long ago and am happy to go on continuing being happy with it. Heard no more over the fitting of a smart one since telling them I did not want one.
  15. Have they put up any signs showing an alternative un-tolled route now they have closed the Silver Jubilee bridge?
  16. It shows that the switch is operated by the motor.
  17. A possibility is Hattons may have received stocks but are either all sold out to, or not enough to fill all, pre-orders hence they will not show as in stock on their website.
  18. Not having any airs and graces I admit to watching such tat. I believe it to be the Crimple Beck Viaduct, https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.9772254,-1.505761,240m/data=!3m1!1e3
  19. ...and they both run on the same 4ft 1.5in gauge track?
  20. Thanks for that information, now looking forward to next year then.
  21. Well that was the shortest visit to Wigan I have done, I missed the comment that the free car park is now pay and display and only had just over £2 on me so £12 for a two hour look around whilst keeping an eye on the time was not VFM for me this time. I know car park charges are out of the control of WFRM but they add to the cost of the entrance. I didn't mind when the ticket price increased to £10 as Wigan is a good show but now with £4 car park to pay I may consider giving it a miss in future.
