  1. I am going in the morning. Is access from and to the M58 at Wigan ok, coming home from Darwen last night the M6 southbound was closed between J27 and J26.
  2. Either Hattons have listed all their LMS pre-owned loco stock or someone has just off loaded their LMS collection. I counted 84 locos, http://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/preowned.aspx 13th Sept. and 22 locos 12th Sept.
  3. I never watched The Bill but I know someone who did.
  4. I am not interested in knowing the name of anybody I do not know. I speak/work with many people, I don't know their names, it makes no difference to me. Don't see what there is to get so het up about.
  5. Imagine if it was 'Dutchess of Atholl'.
  6. You could try an earth block, example - http://www.screwfix.com/p/8-way-earth-block/11385 but they are not insulated and not cheap.
  7. Heard a lot on radio phone in shows... Presenter - "Next we have a caller from xxxx, what do you want to talk about caller?" Caller - "Yeah no..." or "I mean..."
  8. The PECO passing contact switches are fine for use with a cdu, only firing once per throw.

  10. But this is a toys train forum, where I come to read everything toy trains whether that be criticisms, plaudits, imagined or not faults in new models, delays, high prices etc. I go elsewhere to read and discuss other things going on in the world, they belong to the relevant fora and have no place here.
  11. When I say I like a cup of tea, I mean with milk and two sugars and as used for swilling toast, cakes, biscuits and other foods down or sometimes just a mug on its own. My taste buds prefer Assam over the other well known supermarket brands but I would like to try something else along the same lines to see if is to my palette. I once bought some Green Tea thinking it meant it was grown environmentally friendly and I thought I hadn't boiled the water as it looked like wee so made another cup and put two bags in to give it some colour. After putting milk and sugar in it tasted awful, so I am not sure about 'Silver Needle is the most famous white tea in the world; ours is sweet, mellow and refreshing and perfect for drinking on hot, long afternoons.' Or are these not 'that (my) type of tea'?
  12. What I was wondering is, do you still just put a teaspoon of this tea in per person the same as the fine loose tea. Some I have seen looks like small twigs so was not sure how much you would use as I would like to give it a try.
  13. How many cups of tea would, for example, 75g of Assam Tippy @ £4.95 make?

  15. It's not even as if they give you any better news...
  16. For the number of years that my property has been under investigation for suspected unlicensed viewing, instead of sending out threatening letters and wasting taxpayers money they should be performing a peak viewing time raid to try and catch me watching the X Factor or Eastenders . Then remove me from their data base.
  17. Like this... This is an old photo, I now have over 80 since I started keeping them (thrown as many in the bin) ready to hand back to 'The Man' when he eventually appears. I have letters stating what to expect when I appear in court... that my house is under investigation... that the man will be calling on such and such a date, I wait in and no one calls. All a waste of licence payers money.
  18. As a non licence payer I have no right to comment on the matter.
  19. I can see that hanging the boards vertical around the loft would give a lot more room but are you using some form of 'Magnadhesion' on the stock to stop them falling from the tracks?
  20. I don't like a lot of music and the little I do like I like to sit and listen to, not have it on in the background while I am doing something. In the background I prefer to have a talk station on, local radio or LBC except when James O'Brien is on.
  21. According to here https://www.enigon.com/raily/modules/en/ho_peco_setrack_code_100.html#_ they are 517.64 and 411.78
