Apologies for the domestic.... excellent 'crisis management' with the Cointeau though...well done!! I find a bottle of Baileys and a box of After Eights always soothes troubled waters! Glad you enjoyed the thread...a smidgen south of Wakefield ...if truth be known.. Yes I've got the sound system up and running and will be on one of the videos I'm 'trying' to sort out asap. WRT the lady in York, I remember a similar lady announcer in Sheffield in the 70's with a very distinctive voice. Many thanks Dave

SWT 159 weathered and up and running. Pendolino too. Did some video clips, so will be looking into how to upload to Youtube. I know my Windows Movie maker (editing software) doesn't like MOV files from my camera, so hope youtube does?. Dave

Well it's a hybrid. Originally it was the Alstom livery but the additional coaches I had to get to make up a 9-car rake, were of the ordinary Virgin livery. Dave

Thanks Ken & Ralph. Yes it's definately coming to life. Just finished chipping an SWT 159 tonight. Will be weathering it tomorrow and hope to run it in multiple with an SWT 170 that I'm going to chip sometime next week. Got my Pendolino running at a more lifelike speed now too. Will do some pics tomorrow and might experiment with that 'new fangle video thingy'. Dave

Thankyou Jack, Terry & Hammy. Now I'm getting the hang of the new camera thingy, I'm going to try and do some vids. Just installed a Platform PA system tonight....CD player, two length of wire and 2 no. 50mm dia. speakers from Maplins. Announcements burnt to a CD from the internet...and it sounds better than I'd hoped. Got the idea from a bloke on youtube, by the name of 'sheba' I think. Cracking idea and it works well. Dave

Old camera isn't going anywhere...as, due to its small size it can easily get under the 'knitting'....whereas the new camera with its 'snout' can't. And I like its picture quality too. Pic. 9 Tase, was taken during a busy ' Black Friday' rush hour at Minsterley Dave

Some pics with suggested camera tips applied. Looks like the depth of field info was right, using the high F number lets you get everything in focus. Some of the GNER 225 in action, as promised, as well as a few shots of the Underpass and lower track leading to the fiddle yard. Dave

Not quite...2 coaches short...but all coaches are articulated, including the buffet. Pendo full length though. Dave

Thanks IMS...yes going to have a longish session on it today and try out the camera tips mentioned by RBE further up the thread. Still got to get round to re-bogeying the Pendo...yet again...and the Eurostar. Got a couple of original motor bogies for the Pendo, which, when Ive got rid of the rubber tyred wheels, should give something more like a good speed and similar for the Eurostar..using Warship motor bogies for that; which is what I have in the 91. Dave
