  1. I assume this link was intended: https://flic.kr/p/T12zbS Roy
  2. I get where you are coming from, but what are they learning? As per @Andy Mac’s post, they are well aware of the delays, the impact of them and the disappointment that it brings, but what can they do about it? A lot of what has happened recently is out of everybody’s control. My family in Hong Kong has just been impacted by massive flooding, as have some parts of China. Who could have predicted that a week ago, let alone months ago? Roy
  3. Never seen that behaviour before, only if I tick the box do the changes get set as the defaults for a reset. Roy
  4. Think positive, perhaps it was a regional thing and it wasn’t just you… 😉 Roy
  5. Spot on, if they cost the same as the Penryn Ladies, I will be pleasantly surprised. Fully expecting another £50-£75 on top. Roy
  6. Sadly it has been too hot for either my loft layout or my portable one that I set up in the conservatory. I did start setting the latter up, but when I was dripping sweat on the tracks I decided it was probably not the best idea. Just looking now, conservatory ar 47 degrees 😢 Supposed to be a bit cooler here tomorrow, so perhaps a chance then. Roy
  7. Perhaps they would have preferred just one wish-listing thread, not three? Roy
  8. My Heljan 58 will happily pull a full rake of 36 Cavalex HAAs, and they drag quite a lot. Roy
  9. But isn’t that just an option when doing the reblow? I thought you just had to select to make what you are blowing the settings to be reset on a decoder reset? Roy
  10. Indeed, lots of stock that no longer operates on British rails sells well. Not everyone models “today”. Roy
  11. Given they only started late last week, I would say it is safe to say a lot, including yours and mine, are still to be sent out. This was a big delivery, so we just need to be patient. Roy
  12. I like the current way it works. Tends to stop those “haven’t opened it yet but here’s 5 stars” type of review. Roy
  13. When watching the video, I thought it was going to be a brake for a few seconds and got quite excited. Then the 16t came into view. Still a good announcement. Roy
  14. Mine arrived today and whilst I haven’t had a chance to run it yet, the bodywork fix is first rate with no hint of a gap between body and running plate. Will advise on running condition tomorrow. Roy
  15. Not expecting a loco announcement today. Haven’t Accurascale said when it is a loco in the past? Roy
  16. 37114 carried the antenna as well, behind the headlight. See Flickr, here for example (not my photo): 37114 on Flickr by Redhill Bull Roy
  17. Nah, you can have the same model in different liveries to represent different times. My wallet may ache… Riy
  18. You are not wrong there, they are looking lovely. Now, how many can I justify? At least one has to be BR Blue… Roy
  19. At last a shot of my favourite 50, Implacable. It seemed to be the rarest to see, was my last for sight, and hence would make my day whenever I saw it. I would have loved to see that one preserved, but it was not to be. Roy
  20. When did facts ever stop anybody having a moan Andy? Roy
  21. Indeed although franchises as we knew them are dead and won't be re-let. The DfT will be even more specific in what it wants, and don't forget a whole swathe of our railways are run by teh government through the Operator of Last Resort. Roy
  22. I think they are bigger than you think these days. They did quote how many staff they have a while ago, and it was way more than I had imagined. Roy
  23. Those samples look rather nice and yet again I find myself being drawn to buying something that just does not fit my era. I do however note with some sadness that Accurascale show us some fantastic models, yet most of the comments seem to relate to what we are not getting, rather than what we are. That must be frustrating for the likes of @Islesy and Co. Roy
  24. Blimey, have we really come to expect an answer within 24 hours now and get frustrated if we don't? I remember having to wait about 3 weeks for a reply from Hornby once, and that is not knocking Hornby, just showing how expectations have changed, and not in a good way in my opinion. Just for info, I used the webpage chat to ask a payment question this morning and got a reply in 16 minutes. Perhaps your email failed? Roy
