A tip about using an air fryer, do not put anything in it wrapped in metal foil or in a foil container. The foil absorbs the heat and the contents end up undercooked. I found this out the hard way when I done a pie and chips and the pie was in a foil container. Also when doing chips its best to split the cooking time, put them in for a couple of minutes, wait a minute then heat them for the rest of the recommended cooking time results in the chips being crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside. Cooking chips in one go tends to dry them out and this is one drawback of air fryers in that they can make food dry. I'm thinking of replacing my elderly air fryer with one of these.
