I was having a wander into town today and thought to stop for a few moments at Marsh Lane, by luck I saw 3 47s on one train, I was only there to take a picture of a HST departing off Neville Hill 47786 Roy Castle obe, 47826 and 47804 47786 Roy Castle obe 47826 47804 and the HST 43064 ( 43045 on rear )

  4. 66588 at Midland Road earlier today, I like the way this photo is showing the detail
  5. I have taken this picture of 66 603 in the company of a Teddy Bear ( D9516 ) as it is a fairly unusual to have them both in a picture at the depot taken earlier today at Midland Road Depot.

  7. If it was in GNER livery most likely a normal mk4 set would have been used ( normal 82/2 DVT ) SGJ

I have pictured today at Midland Road 66618 "Railways Illustrated Annual Photographic Awards", I am fairly surprised about the rust that is developing on quite a few of the Freightliner locomotives The second picture also at midland road is 66530 again showing rust, taken on the 1st of January this year SGJ

  17. I could almost imagine large body side numbers on the loco like the large logo locos in the 1980s but the grill to the left is in the way

  19. Monday to Friday was mk3s and a HST DVT on some Saturdays Raspberry Ripple mk1s on the Themes - Eden railtours I saw it twice on the Pullmans too Sometimes when it ran with mk3s it had a generator coach ( ex mk1 break ) try searching flickr http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=class+89001
  20. Were the lights battery powered or did the locos have a " plug socket / external electric connection " ( i am presuming battery powered ). SGJ
  21. The attachment is interesting on 37188, is the light a headlight, or is it a beacon ( like some knottingley 56s that had orange lights fitted )
