And me, just finishing off the track laying and motorising of the points on Rennsteig 🤨🤨 Regards Neal.
  2. Yes got to admit it was a very good show, spent a great weekend as guest operator on Beijiao, until we had a major System failure at 2:00pm today which killed half the layout. But it wasn't really about the playing trains at a show, it's also about the social side and spent far to much time talking to people who I haven't seen for a while, and new aquaintences, and far too much money on beer in the evening, just don't tell SWMBO 😜😜 Regards Neal.
  3. Bu88er forgot all about this!!!! 🤬🤬 Never mind there's always next year.. Regards Neal.
  4. That may be because 1930's Germany is probably very difficult to reporoduce these days, especially as it was slightly remodelled quite a few years ago 😉😉 Cheers Neal.
  5. RAF Melksham, which is now Bowerhill Industrial Estate, use to be rail served. I know this as my Father-In-Law did his Trade Training there during his National Service as an Avionics Technician. He also confirmed that when he went on Leave he causght a train from RAF Melksham station and then on to Nottingham. I was at RAF Henlow in the 1980's and although the line had long gone, you could just about see the remnants of it if you looked hard enough. Regards Neal.
  6. Andy, Are these available yet?? I'll have to get one. Cheers Neal.
  7. Paul, Me, Me, Me 😉😉 Put me down for a POP2. Cheers Neal.
  8. @steverabone Read my copy today, must admit has got to be one of the best Editions I've read in ages, absolutely brilliant topics covered. Cheers Neal.
  9. And a novice operator getting to grips with this Witchcraft control system In all seriousness, thanks for the invite to play trains operate this fabulous layout and no I'm not converting to Narra gauge from the wonderfully accurate N Gauge Cheers Neal.
  10. That's a good shout, make it something like the one that runs round Miniatur Wunderland. They have 2 or 3 that circle the whole layout. Regards Neal.
  11. Looking good Paul. Glad to see you're back on your feet again. This'll definitely be on my wish list, really must get round to finishing off POP1 first though Regards Neal.
  12. And of course the lack on interest in KRModels N Gauge range has got nothing to do with 'Short arms & long pockets' comments that came out of KRModels has it??
  13. They do look good Mark. Would look better in N Gauge though See you later in the week. Cheers Neal.
  14. I've put enough of those Patrol Tents up in my life in Scouting to not want one as a model as well Regards Neal.
  15. As a current member of South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust, I can categorically say that the the following Counties are served by us: Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Avon, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall. So there Regards Neal.
  16. Are you inferring that people should be doing, oh what do you call it?? It's on the tip of my tongue!!! I'll get there in a minute!!! Oh yes, MODELLING!!! Good grief man.......
  17. Just think of the music that'll be rocking Heaven now as he'll be meeting up with Jim Steinman again. Sad day, great singer and another icon of my musical youth sadly departed. Regards Neal.
  18. These cars look great Andy, are they from redandy767 on Ebay?? Cheers Neal.
  19. Scott, Sorry mate but I have to slightly disagree there. The bottom of the Grey band is too high by about the width of the white band, if you look at the photo that Adam's just posted, you can see the top of the door handle just breaks into the bottom grey and splits the white band, which if the grey was dropped by that dimension, which may be only miniscule. I do agree that the width of the grey is too big and this gets rid of the Blue portion above it to the roofline. But it's enough to require a repaint if bought.... Cheers Neal.
  20. Steve, Hasn't that coach been painted in Preservation?? I've not been able to find any photos taken in the 80's of Sleepers in service without the "-" in it. Cheers Neal.
  21. And that is why I've cancelled the 5 I'd ordered!!! The later Farish ones I bought a few years ago are much better!!!! It's almost as if the body shell was put too low in the cradle when it was painted/tampo printed, whichever process is used. Regards Neal.
  22. Hoping to get to see this on the last day this Sunday. Quick question, are there step-ups available at the venue for the little people to be able to see, or do I need to bring my own?? Cheers Neal.
  23. I think Steves @Steven B comment was meant to be tongue in cheek Andy @AY Mod, but I know what he means, as a primarily OO Gauge Modeller you're probably not as interested, as a Modeller, than we are as N Gauge Modellers, however you could use your position as a Modelling Journalist to ask the questions of the Manufacturers as to why they are going down the road they are with N Gauge Models?? Cheers Neal.
