Went a few months ago.1st time. Mixture of displays through the years, layouts of various standards, sealed cases of stock thru the years, demos of scalextrix, airfix kits, metal cars. All for a £5. You end up in the shop which has a good selection of stock albeit at full retail prices. Ok to spend an hour of your life when inclined !.

Thank you to all those that attended as either an exhibitor, trader or a visiter, you all contributed to our most successful show in years. We too were broken into on the Friday night, but we're not going to let that dampen a great weekend. Thank you all.

On that saturday its a strike by RMT members, so should be no different than those previously held, Hourly service 07,30 til 18.30 from Sheff/Derby and Nottm ,leics.

2 of the external Ariel's got knocked off. Opened it up to resolder the ariel wires but found there is nowhere to solder to. So is this normal for external wifi ariels?, Are they just dummies' ?, or is this how they work dragging the signal in close proximity. Can anyone with the required knowledge please give an answer. Yes the 44/45/46 did have multiple working connections as built. They were removed after a few years as found to be not required. As for the bag of sprue parts, there a bit crudely moulded, but fit as per period modelled. Lack the air brake pipe and steam heat if I remember. But available elsewhere.

Yes it's the same controller for panel or handheld mounting. Be aware it has poor overload protection and you will need a circuit breaker of 1.5 amp protection supplying the 16v ac feed to help protect your loco's.

Since they restarted the program there's roughly 150 stanchions of 3 different designs gone up in various states of assembly. Ground piles are in for most of the remaining route except around desborough and braybrooke where the new feeder is being installed. Some preliminary signalling work has been done but no start yet made on the bridge rebuilding/ track lowering as required.

If your gonna use a 37 then use the 37/0 version. The 37/4 will have the sound of the starter motor which woul be wrong.

Further progress. . A good 15+ piles gone in on the down line south of Braybrooke towards the A6 bridge. Nearby compound ramping up its stockpile.

Compound at Braybrooke now contains a few components of the stanchions. A tiny bit more progress! .

Check that the decoder speed steps matches the handset being used.

Two dozen stanchions gone up. Ground works for the feeder at Braybrooke and err... that's it for now.

The line has been shut for relaying of the junction at Kilby bridge. After the initial installing of about 2 dozen structures north of Kettering station, there has been nothing else done that I can see.

Steady.....slow lines now both slewed, new platform under construction. Framework of footbridges in place. Fast line being slewed this weekend I believe.

Horrible suspicion that they might actually be tail lights on the real one. Care to pop the body off for us to have a look at internal wiring ?. ( How brave are you on your new model LOL)

It's defiantly a loksound 4 1st version. Compares exactly to my ref pics.
