A couple of things... Headcode discs, top one is upside down, the one under the assistant side if its in that position would show the lens. Windscreen wipers would be crome silver at that time. Otherwise looks good. 👍

Wiring vehicle lights advice please
Hairy Bear Digital replied to ianlei's topic in Electrics (non-DCC)
Led's much prefer a regulated power supply, so don't rule that out before sending back. -
The two lower marker lights were actually built with a red lens that would cover the marker lights. There is a small knob next to each one that moved the lens over the light. A fair amount were removed or painted over.

Not come across a Bachmann Dmu that has switchable interior lights off a separate function. Their either permanently on fed from the track or switched via F0 with the markers.

Cheap, basic servo controller recommendations?
Hairy Bear Digital replied to JSModels's topic in Electrics (non-DCC)
Basic servo controller I have used a couple from this company. You can set the limit of travel and I believe 7 different speed settings. Would recommend them. https://www.heathcote-electronics.co.uk/servo.html -

NNV/NNX Courier Vehicles - What were they used for?
Hairy Bear Digital replied to 18B's topic in UK Prototype Questions
They were staffed primarily for the special delivery traffic which had just been introduced. The service I used to work Leicester to Derby was booked for one to travel with it but they were not always so due to staff shortages. A cushy/ steady number for those involved. -

Hairy Bear Digital replied to Alex TM's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
Yes used a grey primer in a can. We found it incredibly close at the time. We did around 40 wagons, in 3 different body styles. Including some withe the grey horizontal band, looked the part behind a 56. -
Redland PGA colour advice needed
Hairy Bear Digital replied to Alex TM's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips
We used Sherwood Green on our pga's on the legendary layout Redland in the past. -
Is this not the engine room warning horn prior to the engine starting, common on all large emd fitted loco's ?. I think you'll find it's so and therefore you won't be able to stop it as it's part of the engine start sequence. To skip the sequence you could apply notch 1, then the switch sound on.
