Bargain Hunters Mark 2

Recommended Posts

Also spotted as added to the Kernow bargains page is the Hornby R3873 5-car APT at £299.

Remember the outrage when the list price was increased twice before release? Now you can turn the clock right back...

This may of be of interest to scratch builders and the like

hobby craft have the Silhouette cameo 4 on offer for £280

https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/silhouette-black-cameo-4-digital-cutting-tool/6572471000.html

I joined the hobby craft club for free while in store the other week and a couple of days later I got a voucher for 15% off my first order unfortunately looking at the t+c it can’t be used with other offers so it doesn’t work with the cutter bit worth signing up for free for further discounts in the future especially as they sell woodland scenics and humbrol paints etc

There is also a cameo 4 pro for more money but I really can’t see what the big differences are between that and this model

Heads up for this coming Friday it’s Nectar power hour on eBay

as long as you have a nectar card linked to your eBay account then you will get 30x points on any purchase over £10 (up to 9000 points) between 12pm and 1pm this coming Friday 25th November

I used it last year on a Bachmann train pack that was £155 so got 4600 points worth £23 of nectar points (well I would have had I remembered to activate the offer!) worth looking on ebay early for buy it now items you may be after and hold on until Friday to buy between 12 and 1pm

Just a couple of more things on this that might be useful to people.

Worth noting it is just one item this year. Last year I think it was multiple items in the hour.

It's effectively 15% cashback for those who want it as a percentage, so worth doing if it's something you want/need.

The 9000 point limit is £300, anything over that and the benefit reduces as you get £45 worth regardless.

And most importantly, it looks like you have to activate the offer first. Don't just buy something before clicking the email link or message to activate it.
