RMweb Premium newbryford Posted August 10, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 10, 2017 A photo of New Bryford taken in the 80's? With a very young looking Mick. I doubt 80s - it wasn;t built until the early 90s......... Cheers, Mick
Nick G
I doubt 80s - it wasn;t built until the early 90s......... Hence the question mark. It's just 2 photos in amongst photos of the real railway taken in the 80's so I assumed.

RMweb Premium newbryford Posted August 28, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 28, 2017 Only 5 days to go for another outing at Blackburn this weekend. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/123639-blackburn-east-lancs-exhibition-sept-2nd3rd-2017/&do=findComment&comment=2752000 Quite probably NB's last appearance in it's homeland North West. Come and say hello. (and goodbye....) Cheers, Mick
Jack374
An excellent weekend was had with Mick and the NB team, the layout ran (almost) faultlessly on what is probably its last home appearance. Attached are a variety of photos from both days: Many thanks to the crew for letting me play run on the layout this weekend, I've thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks, Jack. RMweb Gold CovDriver Posted September 3, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 3, 2017 What's going to happen to this cracker of a layout once it retires from the exhibition circuit. I've always admired this layout since it's first inception. Cheers Colin

7APT7
Hi Jack Great photos, I like the Top & Tail Cl68 in DRS on the flasks, and the Network Rail Yellow cl950 do look nice, as do the Cl20's in Harry Needles livery. Thanks for sharing those, they looking good on the Layout. Jamie
Jack374
New Bryford is at Hazel Grove this weekend, and today I joined the team and had a very enjoyable day operating. There were a few issues to begin with, including a self-destructing point, but by about midday it was running well. It's a shame that I can’t have another day running tomorrow, but I'd definitely recommend popping down. Thanks, Jack.

Cheers Paul on behalf of HG&DMRS On behalf of the NB crew, a reciprocal thank you to Andy and the HG&DMRS team for an enjotable weekend. A couple of issues with a board joint were annoying, but a bit of stock swapping in the fiddle yard roads and all was reasonably well with NB over the weekend. Three more shows to go.
