My reading of it is that it cannot be driven by the DC controller alone, but then again one must presume that if you’ve gone to the trouble of getting and fitting the Bluetooth decoder that you wouldn’t particularly want to

I’d go for a GWR streamliner :) BR Condition B17/5 pre ordered at Kernow - my only pre order from the announcements this year. Thank god - my wallet has taken to hiding in the cupboard because of my hobbies

The only thing from this morning that I am likely to buy :) City of London for me please :) I don’t like the valances - for me all of the streamlined locos looked a hundred times better without them

when first announced I really didn’t like the look of the LNER green, but its growing on me :)

sincerely hope that all goes well with the delivery. However as EVRI is essentially a re-branded Hermes service my personal experience is that even a striking Royal Mail delivery service is better in every way. had no choice but to order something via eBay GSP about two months ago. American postal services got the parcel to the UK in four days. It has been at the EVRI distribution office ever since.

the timeframe given at time of return was 8-10 weeks and by my reckoning we are about five weeks out from the day of the recall announcement. That timeframe was also a ‘best estimate’ at the time, there are potential for more delays which couldn’t be foreseen.

I read it as saying that they have some stock unexpectedly early and will dispatch to those who ordered earliest first.

I will be getting both of the ladies in due course in their Ffestiniog guise when they come out (although I will wait for the blue Linda and current day Blanche), but it’s good to see progress towards that :)

I believe that there were one or two tweaks to make to livery based upon the painted samples, so painting may not be needed on the final model
