DerekEm8
Morning This is looking superb sir. I think your right it is lacking a little something. Maybe som dirt? Water stains on the sea wall! Either way it still looks Glorious especially with vacs on it. Heres a few shots I thought you might like. The boy with shorts on with Sir Eddy passing is me! Cheers Mark Mark, Just noticed this post and I think it would be courteous if you recorded that the second photograph was not one of yours and that you had downloaded from a previous post. (Its even got my original description on it)
vac_basher
Derek, this probably needs the Mod's attention I would think. Although in all fairness (in my modest oppinion of course) it has to be said that Mark never did say he took any of those photos - after all, he's the young lad in one of them so he certainly didn't take that one. vac_basher
Just a couple of photos for your enjoyment. 37219 gallops along the sea wall with the Bath Road breakdown train in tow. Hippy/surfers enjoying the beach.
eastwestdivide
Good to "sea" you're back. Think the photoshop sky needs a bit of work with the crayons though!
vac_basher
I do quite like this photo. 47 drags a HST power car away with a barrier coach in between. More of the barriar coach which I made myself can be seen in my Bath Road topic (link at bottom of this post) Iconic! This is actually the old Lima HST that I done up a bit. Removed a/c
Great photos, thanks very much for posting them! I think I might have to have a go at making myself a barrier coach.

vac_basher
Nice, did any china clay ever go that way? Hi Thanks. Yes, Back in the day China Clay was frequent along the sea wall. In post 69 (should be on page 3) there are some (model) photos of 50149 on CDA wagons.
vac_basher
Early this morning I photographed the Flying Scotsman which was working a railtour to Penzance.... Here he is seen as he bursts out of Parsons Tunnel.... And now, later in the day, on the return leg of the journey.... Scotsman about to enter Parsons Tunnel as the sun descends.... Not the best photos I've taken. The light wasn't very good today. Also, despite my best efforts, the smoke doesn't seem to be very visable. And I feal that the focus was slightly out too. Shame about the roof on the Mk2 not being on properly for some reason. They're ok, but they could have been slightly better I guess.

vac_basher
A few hours trainspotting along the coast......Sir Nigel Gresely passes with a railtour to PenzanceNot sure if I prefer this shot in colour or black & whiteThe times they are a changing, what with the arival of the newly introduced Class 60's, seen here on the Silver Bullets43167 was one of the very last blue/yellow HST power cars.Bristol Bath Road Class 47 number 47625, substitutes a Class 37, with a load of Polybulks bound for St BlazeyThe crewe await instructions.....NSE summer saturdays. eastwestdivide
Not sure if I prefer this shot in colour or black & white Nor am I, colour one perhaps by a whisker. But it might improve with repositioning the clouds (or the loco) so that the fluffy clouds don't look like they're coming from the loco? And maybe soften the sky a bit, as the sky and the front of the loco are really sharp, but the cliffs in between them aren't, making it look more obviously manipulated. Maybe. RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted July 5, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 5, 2014 Good to see some photos of Smugglers Lane again! You could bring this up to date by parking an excavator on the beach & having a dozen or so of the Orange Army getting ready to repair the sea wall....
