Can I check, will that be GMT or CET….

it’s so confusing after Brexit - asking for a friend

I also won't confirm or deny the announcement of the H57 restaurant coach @Neal Ball :D

I have the info on that. Duchesses and Princesses (when the Kings were temporarily withdrawn for checks?) Can't remember any Black 5s but 8Fs appeared at Laira every so often, especially early 60s. I am not saying a Black 5 never appeared, but I have no evidence.

I was very young then, Phil; all that I recollect is that they were big and black!:stinker:

GMT I understand, and BST.  Doesn’t CET need a concrete apron and suitable pipework on the coaches?

:-)

Paul.

If it is PST, right now you need a snow plough.

I am afraid I wont be awake for any of Robin’s suggested times. As usual I will wake up to 20 pages of “ nothing for me”.

What have I missed then chaps ?

Hornby copying Rapido and releasing a G39 Loriot Y in GWR and BR liveries is about it from the looks of things.  Price is about the same as the rapido model, I will be keeping my pre order for the latter I think.  A bit silly to now have two models coming for a design on which the prototype only had two built.    Rapido's news on the other hand was a strong indication that They/Canal are going after Hornby for unauthorised use of the Titfield Thunderbolt name on Hornby's releases...

I havent bothered looking at whether there are new liveries on the existing 4-6-0s or the existing coaches as I have no need of them (and the site is running really slowly).

Hornby - the Victor Meldrew of the model railway world...

I just think it's such a shame they spend so much time playing the grumpy old man with others ie Hattons, Rails, Dapol, Rapido when they could use their talents and experience to develop more new products. Meanwhile the County, Saint, Bulldog, various diners, Centenary Stock, Riviera Stock, toplights, decent clerestories, milk tanks, cordon, passenger brake vans etc all go begging... I might even have bought a 21st Century version of the Dean single...

No matter. More budget to spend at Wizard Models and Accurascle!

With all the excitement of the Horny announcement have folks got their mince pies on this footage of a Dapol Manor.

I've an Accurascale one on order myself but interesting to see Dapol's take on the 78xx.

Cheers,
