We are pleased to announce that DJModels' first production example of the OO Gauge J94 Austerity will be unveiled at Perth 2016. The model will be available for viewing on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The box the model comes in is signed by Dave Jones and it is our intention to run a prize draw, the lucky winner will become the proud owner of the locomotive and signed box.

Hi,

If you want to put some in that would be great. We have a little space left in one cabinet. You will need to get them in on Friday before 4.00 pm and wont get them back until Monday 27th. This is because we will not have easy access to the cabinet keys during the weekend.

Now Dave!

Repeat after me.

My shirts have recently been washed in 'Shiney Shine Super Brighty' washing powder.

Other products are available.

Take a long hard look at his "check shirt" as the show opens Dave as you won't see it again for at least an "hour".

Enjoy the show and the hospitality as I did the couple of times I've been to Perth.

Well everyone,

the good news is that the hall is the same size as last year which means that every exhibit fitted in where it should!

We are all set for tomorrow. Beer and feet up time now for me!

Hi Stan and all,

Our group Scottish Modellers/DEMU will be there providing a variety of demos on the stand as usual depending what projects each of us have on the go. We will also be running a seminar on using static grass each day so do come along and say hello and ask any questions to any of us regarding any of the modelling taking place.

All the best

Mark

Great exhibition . Perth seems successful in attracting clubs from further afield which really is appreciated , being very familiar with some of the layouts on the Scottish circuit. Douglas Blades books excellent as always. Who would have thought there would be a book published on the Paisley and Barrhead railway ? Had to buy it as I walked to school on the track bed, great book on Scottish buses in the 60s too, not seen elsewhere. Bought a second hand Bachmann BCK @ £17 to complete my Choc and cream Hornby set. Bachmann new mk1 s selling for £60 a pair except nobody buying as far as I could see and the blue Pullman available at £500 still sitting on shelf

Went today and it was great to meet old friends, and some new ones from this group.

At last I saw the layout tribute to Steve Titherage, and kings park, but there were also some stunning other layouts, in fact too many to mention here.

This day trip from Liverpool reminded me what a show should be about, layouts, laughs, friendships, stockists and specialists.

Totally recommended by me, visit if you can.

Cheers

Dave

I  addition to above I'd like to add my positive comments on today's show. Lots of top notch layouts, in fact arguably no weak ones IMO. The park and ride makes getting there a breeze even with wee ones in tow.

Added to the list of my annual days out.

If pushed to vote, and indeed I did on the way out I gave best layout to Oulton park but as I say lots of great layouts and perhaps even more enjoyable was several previously unseen layouts
