RMweb Gold 96701 Posted April 20, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 20, 2017 One of Geoff Brewin's models on his layout. Has anybody got a photograph of a layout taken during supposed darkness with various model lamps lit?

BG John
As a broad gauge modeller, there's narrow gauge track being added in this photo! But as that's not really what you meant, here's something in O-16.5 Next, something narrow gauge running through scenery (rather than being in a fiddle yard). RMweb Gold 96701 Posted April 25, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 25, 2017 (edited) Not much in the way of trains, just a stationary wagon on High Stamley. Now for a train set, not a model railway. Edited April 25, 2017 by 96701
RMweb Gold 96701 Posted April 27, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 27, 2017 Oh dear, have I broken this thread?
John ks
Does this count as a train set All the parts are from train sets & there was very little modelling involved Pic was probably taken in the early sixties Next one of your earliest models that you still have, if you consider the thread fixed otherwise we're still looking for a train set John

RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted May 1, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 1, 2017 Almost as old as Thomas - our 1960/70 vintage 'Bagnall' - parked on a bit of grass mat recently! Keeping with wheel arrangements - let's try a 4-4-0
RMweb Premium Brit70053 Posted May 1, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 1, 2017 If we can look past the mogul in the foreground a 4 - 4 - 0 which has been a very long term project and a basic lesson in "If you want to get there I wouldn't start from here". A deliberate (?) mistake in the choice of donor model is still in evidence in this shot, but has since been eliminated. Next photo : A large 'Prairie' please
