I've been doing a bit of travelling lately...........they don't come much redder than this  :jester:

Vermont Railway 432 heads 263 Rutland to Bellows Falls freight through Smithville VT, on 3 October 2017. SD70M-2 432 was delivered in 2006 to Florida East Coast, then moved on to First Union Rail Leasing before finding its new home on the VTR

I have told this story before and been taken to task for my description of the sound I heard...........but anyway

I was in the gents on York station, when I heard the unmistakeable clank of con-rods. I hastily finished my ablutions and shot out onto the platform to find this - post-14351-0-49848800-1509055985_thumb.jpg

I was just about to post a pic of the same loco - but at Hellifiled.

Two preserved NZR Da class locos in their original red livery.

Da 1410 at the head of an excursion to Murupara during a stop a Te Puke. The second loco, Dc 4790, still in service at the time, is a rebuilt Da.

Da 1429 at Te Rapa during the period it was leased by Transrail due to a shortage of motive power in the mid 2000's.

How about a change of colour to items where red, green or blue are not the main colours

Something like this:

I put this one in, although I think I may have used it somewhere on RMweb already* - I'll now go and look for some more - of course most of Dad's photos are black & white, but I guess that's cheating! (*edit here on 'the close to water' challenge or something similar)
