I’m amazed no one has worked out what it is yet from the small amount of print just showing from under the Guinness mug!!

I keep squinting really hard at it in the hope I can see it as a Catfish ballast wagon. The launch wagon in the ‘Ballasting Britain’ range 🤞

Our glorious (and rapidly growing) Spring 2023 catalogue will be available to pick up at the show, concurrently available for download from our website and we hope to also start including it for free in all shipments in the coming weeks.

Whilst I love a catalogue McC, I've had 5 shipments from you since the last catalogue publication. I have no need for 5 copies and indeed that would be a huge waste of paper. Could you add a refinement to your dispatch system that would include a catalogue with the first shipment sent out after a new edition, but not subsequent ones?

Here's an outfield guess. A 66. Bearing a strong resemblance to the Hattons version...... ;)

As a p.s.

And I'm sure a Euro spec variant would be well received

I think it looks like the front of a class 185. Glasgow was the northern terminus for these units so would be fitting to announce one at the Glasgow show.

Could the clue be more obvious and be standing out?

Like the keg of Guinness?

I'm not expert in what the Guinness factory had, loco or wagon wise, but would they have something of interest to the general sphere of modellers and which is not specialised?
