Having just got back from looking at Phil parkers daily blog the thought struck me

it's not just pie or pasty !

but pie pasty or cake !

question do trains have anything to do with this show ?

For some, it will be Pie, Pasty and (at least one piece of) cake, but there'll be plenty of room/time left for trains too, as previous years' events have demonstrated.

And for those of a confused nature... Rob is of course referring to the location of the demo table we were allocated at the Stafford show.

I should also point out that we were also right next door to the exhibitors' refreshment area. Handy for cups of tea, which of course then naturally led to it being handy located close to the gents.

I'm hoping that for Taunton 2021 we'll be located right next door to the pasty, pie and cake area. Failing that the availability of some sort of "just eat" type app to summon pasties, pies and cakes.

Old school approach.

In which case, perhaps fitting him with a remote control shock collar might be appropriate to indicate food delivery is required? One shock for pasty, two for pie and 39 for cake.

All of which reminds me I need to get this year's Pasty Vouchers printed.

Will you be following the Bank of England approach and printing on plastic paper?

About time some new 'currency' was issued!

Rumours are circulating of a new 20lb note.  Heavier than the previous ones to prevent fraudulent consumption of multiple pasties.

Due to a hospital appointment on Friday 24th April at the John Radcliff in Oxford which will almost certainly involve a stay in the Oxford area on the Friday night we have had to withdraw from the Epsom show which is a pain as its a good show. The procedure is fairly routine but there is a long waiting list so we cant move it.

The up side is that I'm hoping now to make it down to the members day on the Sunday.

Pete will be flying the 2mm flag so I will just be bringing something inappropriate to run!

CK, are you bringing some of that excellent chicken pie you source!

Get a chip and some coal in this - should be suitable for the Scottish Highlands!

Jerry

Absolutely Jerry :good:Will be good to see you.

Hope the hospital appointment goes well...
