15" is the closest gauge but alot also use it to represent 18" as well.

Interesting, I use 0.16.5 to represent 10-1/4" in 7/8ths scale

Deep inside the works, on a gloomy morning, a fitter checks over a wheelset.

(old project, I dug out some pics whilst looking for something else, so might pop a couple up on here.  Deliberately arty sort of a build and shoot, taking inspiration from the shed photographs and paintings by the likes of David Shepherd and H.C Casserley).

At risk of putting too many photos in this topic in a short space of time, here's 590 powering through Tanyglaslyn. Colour & BW versions.

Well thankyou very much. I really just meant that I've put quite a few up in 2 or 3 days that was all.

Considering it's a 2007 tooling, the Bachmann Jubilee still looks the part today with a bit of weathering!

Absolutely! Whenever I look at my Bachmann 5563 Australia, in the beautiful rich crimson livery, it still impresses me after all this time.

And that photo is superb, I really had to double take to work out it wasn't a photo of a railtour 😄

Post away.

Just my two penn'th, but I think that B&W works better in this case, it looks more authentic as there was less chance of decent colour photos being taken back in the day.

Your strap line “My name is Captain Kernow , but my friends call me Captain Kernow “ reminds me of  the film  Ice Sation  Zebra .

Patrick Mcgoohan ( British secret agents)  embarks on  a US nuclear submarine . The Captain , Rock  Hudson, greets him “ This is a first name ship , my first name is Sir”.

Another example of 'Riccarton North' pretending to be another region, Jubilee No. 45627 'Sierra Leone' digs into the climb on the Long Drag, with a mixed parcels service for Carlisle.

Considering it's a 2007 tooling, the Bachmann Jubilee still looks the part today with a bit of weathering!  A kit build Parkside Southern PMV is behind the tender.

Very nice - how have you modelled the water, looks very convincing from this angle

Agreed, if it's not photoshopped in (which if it is it's been done very well) and if it's not it's probably the best modelling of water I seen!
