lyneux
Enjoy watching the long freight trains go by on Hinksey Yard at DEMU Showcase in less than two weeks time! Expertly modelled in 2mm N gauge, Hinksey Yard is based on a real engineering yard in Oxfordshire. RMweb Premium 70000 Britannia Posted July 12, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 12, 2022 Looks to be a really interesting set of layouts. Always a good show. How frustrating that we chose to be on holiday 350 miles away!

Sadly we do not have an advance ticket system, something the Showcase team should discuss for next year. For the first time at this year's showcase entrance can be paid for using your credit or debut card. I hope you enjoy the show. Mike. Concessionary tickets are only available to people under 16 years of age. We won't be fooled by a six foot odd tall geezer with grey hair wearing shorts and an old school cap. 4 minutes ago, AY Mod said: Facial recognition. I believe our facial recognition device is quite sensitive and may have a hissyfit with certain visages. 1

sf315
Looking forward to showing Ryecroft Arena next weekend at showcase. It will be running in Birmingham mode and will be probably the only layout there with no locomotives on it. Central trains 153,156,150,158,170 and Chiltern Trains 168 being the order of the day. See you there.
billywhizz
Sadly this will be the 1st DEMU Showcase I have missed in approx 20 years due to a clash with volunteering work I do every year in July. Hope the weekend goes well and the show is a great success. Gutted I won’t be there! Cheers. Bill.
