Anyone reached gold or platinum status yet ?

Quite a few Gold, but as the system is 'relatively' new , no one's hit Platinum just yet :)

They let slip one announcement last year online (ive kept it to myself and did point it out and noticed it went), but if the slip really was a slip then it’ll be exciting, i’ve speculatively dropped a few of mine as ive a dozen, but if its true there’ll be thousands of em on ebay !

Stop taunting us, that's really not fair...

Does the fact that I can't be bothered to work out all my Accurascale stuff mean I have too much?

Locos is 3xDeltics, 5x37, 2x31s and

Coaches x 23.

Then we get to wagons and it is more than I can remember (at least 17 packs that I can see from here, but some more are in the loft).

My money says he was referring to the Class 66 announcement - his reference to Ebay being the Hattons' 66's up for sale

Nah. Its that long ago i’m not even sure any more.

it was relating to a steam loco.

Their was a post in a preservation groups twitter feed referring to A/S measuring their loco, but its long gone.

(I did screenshot it at the time but i’ll keep the surprise, if it is indeed one).

The 66 meanwhile was pretty much outed on the forum in july last year…

Give it until Run 5 of the 37’s and Run 3 of the 66’s I suspect there will be a few close contenders.

If you guys did a whole new range of mk1s it could be a bloodbath.

Especially some oddities and enough to make a full rake for each region too! Hate getting coached renumbered.

Crikey I better come clean seeing as others have here. I know I'm going to regret it 😆Although it's nowhere near as much as some have revealed (that's clutching at straws - I know I'm still in trouble). Accurascale really need to make their boxes smaller as when the next lot of preorders arrive, I'll be copping it for certain...

Received: x1Deltic D9012 Crepello, with period Driver/Secondman

Preorder: x3 Class 50s - D423 BR Blue, NSE 50017 Royal Oak, RF 50149 Defiance

                  x5 Mk2b B&G, x5 Mk2c B&G, x2 Mk2c NSE, x1 Mk2c IC...

...and no I won't even bother adding it all up 😰

Go on then:

Loco

1x92 received (92036)

4x37 on order (Yellow, Lord Hinton, Europhoenix and the HTG one)

1x50 on order (H+H)

1x66 on order (Climate Hero)

Coaches

1xTPE Mk 5 set

4x WCRC coaches on order (MK2B/C)

Wagons

12 x nuke PFA

6x shorty HYA

6xIIA

4xJSA

3x Coil A

3x MDO (The Planet Industrial orange ones!)

Pack of FNA-D on order

Still considering another 66 and whatever they announce at Ally Pally will inevitably also go on the possibles!

(Oh, and if they were to announce a model of 31413 "Severn Valley Railway"......... )

That's actually a chunk more than last time I posted in this topic. A fair bit more than I thought...

I’m just glad the big announcement at Glasgow was a loco I have zero interest in. Although having recovered from that my wallet is now cowering in terror once again ahead of the announcement at Ally Pally in 10 days time.

A very interesting thread this.....

Before i run off my list i will say this, i NEVER ever purchase a new model without having first seen it, or read various reviews online and in magazines about its quality which normally highlights various build and livery errors that would need correcting or living with ( i cant stress my disapointment at the new Dapol 59 and im glad i never ordered one). Im afraid i don't have much faith in Hornby, Heljan, Dapol and to a lesser extent Bachmann these days.

Anyway, i have in my possesion a lovely rake of 15 ARC Tippler wagons from Accurascale..... and thats it!

However, on order (and paid for)....

2x mk2 NSE coaches.

2x class 31s (Exclusives 31407 & 31466)

2x class 50s ( 50017 & 50149 )

Not a long list compared to some, but being as none of these models have been released yet i think it shows my faith in the new manufacturers as ive been impressed at what ive seen so far to the point i will now order models before they have even entered production, i also have Revolutions Inspection saloon on order and paid for, done before i even seen a production example.

Accurascales payment schemes are also very favourable, i like paying in instalments, it makes ordering bigger more expensive orders more manageable.

I think Accurascale, Revolution and Cavalex have really improved this hobby no end and all three will see a lot of my cash coming their way in the future.

I am like this as well. I do video reviews of the model trains I buy as when I pay my own money for them. I can give an honest view of my models without any comeback. I am neutral with all brands to be honest but I am always fair and give positive and where needed, constructive feedback because the latter helps highlight when the product can be better where its lacking. In truth, I love my Class 92's and I want to cover a Class 50 and a Class 31. Having 9500 subscribers on my YouTube channel since 2008 and staying organic and genuine. I must be doing something right. In truth. I love to support companies like Accurascale and Cavalex as they do care about their customers and my experience with them has been mostly positive. Good vibrations and happy times ahead for me ;).

Well the easiest way to get to a modeller to platinum would be to produce the more varieties than Heinz - Class 47......Cough, Cough.....

Accurascale could produce their first 'Duff' model..... Thought I'd get a pun in before Fran tries.......

How much more 'Spoon' feeding do you need?
