Thats the only thing wrong with their breakfasts. We did ask but they said too many people asked for breakfast without it.

Some people! You can't get the staff

Much enjoyed the latest video. The chalk embankments are particularly effective.

Cheers

Thanks David, Yes the Chalk has really set the scene, and brought it to life. I just need to get on with some more now, and stop faffing around, and dithering. 🤪

Rather O/T but probably no more so than all this talk of breakfasts!

In anticipation of a house move I've been doing a bit of de-cluttering some of which involves going through some old model railway magazines to decide which articles I want to keep and I've just found the November 2013 edition of Model Rail that features Glen Roy by a chap called Andy Peters. Talk about a blast from the past!

Well that was a long time ago. A friend of mine still has it, and has done some amazing work on it I believe. He live in Derbyshire, si I've not seen it for nearly 5 years.

Hi Andy, any updates on the layout?

Cheers, Ade.

YES,,,,,,YES,,,,,YES, 😃    There is 🙄 = Its still here. 😁.

Not worked on it for a bit, but my mate Kevin came down two weeks ago, and we had a really good all day running session, (after a really good Weatherspoon's breakfast), and not one Train did a full circuit continuously. It was works as intended,  = Fiddle Yard "A" to Yard avoiding loop, and back to second F/Y "B".  2nd F/Y "B" to lower Yard, dethatch Loco and shunt stock into sidings or other Roads to make up New Trains. NSE 117 was run between services only on the upper Station section, and either through or back. Each of the above Freight moves were done with Trains running in opposite directions. and it took about 5 hours to do all we had to do, and still didn't move everything. It has potential, but still busy with the Bands and playing 2 or 3 nights a week sometimes.
