RMweb Premium Islesy Posted February 14 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 14 Evening lads! Worry not, the NER 20T samples arrived a week or so ago, and have been assessed prior to being sent for their beauty shots. Fran will do a full update on them shortly 😉 9 3 1

DougN
These finished examples look brilliant. I usually dont do pre orders however as these are so good I am willing to throw caution to the wind and place the order. I will now have a trains worth of 9 hoppers. I should probably get some NER ones to mix in...but I will stick with LNER triples at the moment! Interestingly I am more excited about these wagons more than the coronation sets or the new locos coming!

We would never photograph a model with after market accessories fitted :) HTH!

Mark Hamlin
Any chance of an internal view guys? I recall seeing that wonderful internal planking detail in the EP was what made me give up on my Slater kit built ones😀
thetalkinlens
Having a closer look at these in the flesh at Model Rail Scotland today, they look superb... I noticed the Central Division P7 of 55985 has the drop buffers painted black rather than grey. This looked a bit unusual I thought given the P6's and P8's on show were grey. The archive photo of wagon 55985 I would have said they were grey also.
RMweb Gold John B Posted March 1 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 1 They do indeed look superb. Kept going back to the stand for another look. Apologies if there's any drool marks on top of the glass, guys...
Michael Hodgson Posted Thursday at 11:12 Share Posted Thursday at 11:12 Rather surprised that I had an invitation a couple of weeks ago and then a similar email a few days later, to review DGM12 hoppers that they say they had sent a few days previously. Which of course they hadn't, as they're still showing as available for pre-order. Anyway, I suppose AccurascaIe will expect me to pay for them before they do send them! 😁
