Well, we've decided to do it all again!

Details of what will be at this years Larkrail will be added later but rest assured there will be lots of lovely things to see and cake to eat. For now, just make a note in your diary.

All proceeds will again be devided between Parkinsons UK  and Julian House.

Many thanks to Andy Y for doing the clever stuff  with the poster

look forward to seeing everyone in July

Jerry, Kim and Simon

All the right words, but not necessarily in the right order . . .

Larkrail will again be its usual eclectic collection of great modelling, fine cakes and jolly banter. As Simon says, those trembling with excitement will have to wait a little longer for the full list but to wet your apetite here are a few snaps of Andy Ross's  fascinating Hunslet Works in 7mm.

Knee trembling delights shortly to be announced,

😲  Now that might just make it worth travelling all the way down from the North East.

For anyone interested the layout has its own thread:

Unfortunately some of the photos were lost but you get the idea of how it has developed so far.

Really Looking forward to the show.

Ooh (presses the "like" button several times).  I've been wanting to see this in the flesh.  Good job I'd already put the date on the calendar.

It wouldnt be Larkrail without some 2mm. This year the prof himself,  Tim Watson, is coming down with the Goods shed and Potatoe market area of Copenhagen Fields - including Londons finest fruit and veg outlet!! This is a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a lump of CF and one of its creators.

Tim will be ably supported by Paula Martin with the 2mm Roadshow and the leg-end that is John, 'Im not building any more engines', Greenwood with a selection of his current projects.

Test Match Special has occupied much of my time today although time was found for a high level telecommunications conference of the Larkrail steering committee. We both decided that we should meet up next Monday after I return from my little camping trip for a planning session.

In the meantime, my co-conspirator tells me that further details of upcoming attractions will be released in the next few days. Watch this space.

Jerry, from a field in Somerset!

Just remembered to put this on the official household planner (aka the calendar on the kitchen noticeboard).  As my writing hand is still not 100% I'm not sure if Mrs Stationmaster will interpret my entry as a place name or something to do with ablutions - if she can read it at all that is.

Parking below Fielden Clegg’s Bath Brewery should be available for the show, final permissions being sorted out. Brian is already lined up with minibus to shuttle between shoffice and show.

The final planning meeting has now taken place….

Card has been cut, bluetac deployed and plans finalised - even Minsky the cat thought it looks to be a great show.

A full  list of what will be there will be posted in the next few days for those who like that kind of thing,

cheers Jerry

Thank you very much for a most enjoyable afternoon Jerry - I think that's a wrap!

And with Cookie's attendance confirmed, I'd better try and finish his bespoke gentleman's brake van...

I will do my bestest to attend, my (earthly) body has tried mutiny on several occasions this last year, pneumonia being it's latest attempt to scupper my plans but I refuse to let it have it's own way, so it can do one.

Is Mr Branchlines coming to part me from my hard earned (😂) readies?

Will there be oat milk?

Can I stop darts mid-air in the Larkhall Inn by asking for a black coffee (again) ?

I guess I shall find out in a fortnight.

Looking forward to rubbing my dirty rucksack against you all.

Top stuff 👍
