Peppercorn
This was an attempt at a creative photo. Waterloo, '67. Class 2 tank. Taken with a 35mm camera - I owned a Yashica J then that I'd bought second hand.

Popular Post Timara
Taken with my camera atop a 5 metre high pole (courtesy of my good friend Jason Cross). The Bakerloo line's London Road depot, with the Shard in the background, taken in the wee small hours. London Road depot 4-12-14 (V17254) by TimEaster, on Flickr I'm hoping to revisit this one in the summer, since there is one item missing from the sky - the moon! Peter Kazmierczak
An excellent picture Tim, really well executed. I remember many years ago walking past there, long before I knew there was a LT depot. I happened to look over a wall and, much to my surprise, saw an underground train depot in the middle of the South Bank.

Until fairly recently I hadn't realised that I'd indeed been past it a few times myself, not least to the cathedral just over the road from it. In order to get all ten trains complete and in shot, the full extent of the pole is required. Modern technology makes such a shot possible Cheers, Tim

Originally there was a ramp between the two sets of sidings that was used to deliver the Gate stock by road, as the line wasn't rail connected until the extension to Queens Park opened. There used to be more sheds and workshops on the rhs as well.

Peter Kazmierczak
Maybe not quite in the "creative" mould, but hopefully of interest. Consett in 1975 - after almost 40 years I can actually see a number on the loco - looks like 44. Doubtless someone with industrial loco knowledge can add more. How I wish I'd taken more everyday industrial scenes rather than chase Deltics etc
Grimleygrid
its the pits! And there was me trying to get the lights all at the same height on my inspection pits! Nice photo Jim, very helpful. One from me:

Peter Kazmierczak
Platform trolley and train. The weather was pretty dire that day, hence a rather poor depth of field to the shot.
Smiffy2
Not poor depth of field - that's artistically used plane of focus. Also a good use of the rule of thirds, and for my taste could be even grainier/more contrasty.
