Grimleygrid
Dave I can certainly understand why you are excited about the last building, your depot is a master piece. The fun you will have in the future is enough to excite any modeller! The first shot of the 27 just poking its front out of the shed is pure class! This to me shows just how well, or rather how brilliantly you have recreated Haymarket depot on Waverley West 26031 Haymarket 27.6.84 [RR84] by Paul Bettany, on Flickr Will your main shed have the walk ways inside? I presume that this photo was taken inside the main shed. 27005 Haymarket 250885 by wwatfam, on Flickr You can just see the ends of the inspection platforms in the photo below: gb_860824_20222 copy by MUTTLEY'S PIX, on Flickr gb_860824_47297 copy by MUTTLEY'S PIX, on Flickr They look of similar design to those at Toton This surely has to be your next project after the depot! RMweb Premium 45156 Posted October 23, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 23, 2015 Loving watching the progress of WW - better here than in any of the mags, as we get real time updates. I agree that the photos are very atmospheric and incredibly realistic. Now then, to get this truly a "just like the real thing" layout, all we need is to rebuild the whole thing in P4

Popular Post Waverley West
Hi folks, Lots more detailing to do yet, but some scenes are beginning to emerge on the fledgling depot... That door could do with opening a bit more! I have also cut both sides of the last shed. More updates to follow soon I hope. Grimleygrid
Incredible modelling Dave, the photo opportunities your depot is going to provide is mouth watering!!! You must be over the moon. Loving the latest shots, especially the Large Logo 47 and the final shot, stunning Sir. Thanks for the motivation Dave, seeing your recent progress have inspired me to get on with my project this week. I am now wondering if I should have planned to have lighting inside my depot! Waverley West
I am now wondering if I should have planned to have lighting inside my depot! Alex, you have to have lighting. It's really not optional, you know, especially with Boxenby. All that detail you're putting in just has to be seen!
D6775
Really looking stunning, the second picture of 37026 you could almost walk upto it and drive it off the shed!

P.C.M
Great Modelling Dave. The latest pics are great, I really like the forth one down. It reminds me of seeing loco's on shed and not being able to get all the numbers, I might need that class 26 for sight as I didn't clear them. Cheers Peter.
Crisis Rail
It's looking good isn't it? Maybe some oil spillage and a few weeds where the brickwork meets the hardstanding would blend in well. Ian

Popular Post Waverley West
Hi folks, I've just been up to the railway room to check that the new shed is the right size. Just thought I'd post a couple of pics I took while I was up there. I think the fledgling new shed looks about right in its new setting... RMweb Premium 45156 Posted October 26, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 26, 2015 Pleased to see that you've taken my quip in the right spirit Dave - I never could quite get my head round P4 with all its ultra fine standards and all the compensated bogies and things, and I was introduced to it at an exhibition in London in the early 1970s. at a time when I was still messing with Super 4. Redford73
Stunning work Dave. Saw the article in BRM and then found the thread here. Absolutely fantastic. I remember your Waverley West MK1 which featured in MR (I think) some years ago. The new article and pics on the thread are awe inspiring. Keep up the great work!
