Well I've just finished gluing down the respaced sleepers for the concrete main line complete with camber. Threaded the rail in and made final adjustments before the glue completely sets. I dont know if its the correct amount or not but the superelevation looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see it when complete with locos leaning round the bend!

Photos soon.

Hi Cav,

The extension is looking good, really like your Vitrains Duff, 47210 used to follow me about a bit and always had ploughs when I saw it. I had a read through your thread on 47210 as I am thinking of getting one. I hope it looks ok with my Bachmann 47s.

Cheers Peter.

Cheers grim. You know its not as hard as youd think. its all about the setting out really and the order you do things. Even making the crossing v is a doddle. im not sure whether you could do it in p4 but i just machine them with a dremel! its as sharp as anything so no reason why not. at around 10 ft radius it works out between 5 and 6 degrees. 2.5 degrees off each rail.

Neil with all those layouts there i dont think andy will have room for a workshop!

Well Ive managed to get a few hours in tonight and finished the construction of the large point. just the accompanying smaller one to do now before laying the sidings/yard entrance. The point is a monster and looks the part i think even if i do day so myself. cant wait to get the other done now so that I can start the good bit!
